There were many different leisure activities that I participated in throughout this semester. The one that enjoy the most was the competitive Flag football with my friends. This activity was conducted at a park right by the Milwaukee public school board. The cost of the activity was $200 per team each team can have 12 players so we paid $17 per player. The activity did not require any equipment but we did decide to buy our own team shirts. We played flag football we played seven games and then three playoffs. My team went to the championship but loss in the last second. Playing football provided me with physical wellness and intellectual wellness, all of these component made it possible for me to gain clearer understanding of what leisure truly is. Physical wellness in football include all the four main types of exercise. The first part is endurance, in flag football you are constantly running or walking in order to catch the person with the flag or running routes to catch the ball. Next is strength, if you want to become better you need to strength so that you can be able to block the person on the opposing team and often times the games become really physical. Following is stretching, this is the most important part if you want to stay healthy and continue to play. Before the games we often stretch so we could keep our muscle loose and would not pull any muscles. Lastly is balance, often the game become physical and when someone comes to block they want to take you down, so you need to maintain balance so would get taking out of a play. Intellectual wellness is using your intelligence. This often is important in flag football. If you want to win you have to know your opponent. Using your brain to try and figure out what they are going to do next. Often you learn this by studying your

I used to throw the football with my mother when I was a toddler and she always told me that when I tried to tackle her I hit really hard. My first organized football experience was when I was five. I had just moved to Manassas, VA from Washington, D.C. in 1994. It was around fall and that was right at the beginning of football season in the area.
