I thought that I knew what I wanted to do with my life right up until the moment that I had to actually decide what I wanted to do with my life. Oh, I have the answer, but I think that “nothing” isn’t going to cut it for anyone, right? Right. Well then, I had a feeling that my life was going to get difficult this year, and I was right. My English class just slapped me in the face with College and University preparations, which unfortunately includes this essay. I can’t wait to start college. I can’t wait to cry to my mom on the phone over a pile of laundry that I haven’t done in a month while wearing a shirt for the second time that week that’s already covered in Ramen noodle stains. I mean, let's face it. My Grade Point Average is not that appreciable. In fact, it’s downright appalling. My ACT score is the only thing that saved me, with a mere Twenty Two. With that, it showed that I had potential. My GPA made it seem as if I had the intelligence quotient of a ball of lint. Austin Peay offers coed, men's, women's, single and married apartments as well as disabled housing and theme housing. Columbia State is a small school with about 5,200 students currently attending. Austin Peay is a larger in population with a total of 9,184 undergraduates. Surprisingly, Austin Peay has an 18:1 student to teacher ratio while Columbia State has a 19:1 student to teacher ratio. Columbia State as well as Austin Peay the offers a diverse selection of special programs. I am interested mostly in their study abroad program because the one thing I have always truly wanted to do with my life is travel the world. Other programs that would be useful and I would be interested in is independent study, internships, cooperative education, and possibly a double major as well as evening classes, because as my high school teachers can obviously see, I'm not a morning person. Truthfully, it is difficult for me to keep up the with my education as well as extracurricular activities and be able to actually get enough sleep to properly function. If I were to join in on extracurricular activities at either of these schools, I would most likely join an artistic program or any humanitarian group I could
