My personal experience is the time I went on a plane ride for my very first time. It was crazy trying to get to the check points because of all the people that were trying to get to their destination and me going through the TSA checkpoints. Then waiting for the plane to arrive was very annoying and time consuming. Finally the plane ride across the country and arriving in Mexico. In the end it was very exciting and a little scary my very first time going on a plane ride.
At first, I had to get many things in order before I was ready to leave. I had to buy clothes for family members and myself. My mother and father were very excited that I was going to go on my first plane ride they told some stories about when they went on a plane ride

and they told what to do if I didn’t know where to go in the airport. After all the preparations my parents and I did to be ready for the plane ride that’s when it hit my mother that I was going on a plane ride out of the country alone. She started to lecture me on what to do if I got confused with all the signs or if I needed help with my luggage to ask a stranger to help me carry my luggage. My dad and I busted out laughing over the way my mom was reacting because she has known about the trip for a couple a weeks before. My father was making fun of my father laughing at my mother I told her you just said “I hope you have a lot of fun on your trip to and you should be ok travelling by yourself on the plane”. My mother said “I know but your still my little baby boy so I will always worry about you weather you like or not”. My mother finally got over the fact I was going alone so her and my dad told me to be very careful. The following day, was the day of my departure it was both exciting and terrifying at the same time. There was people speed walking through the crowds just to catch their flight and other people were running with their luggage being dragged behind them. The line was extremely time consuming good thing my mom took me two hours than I was supposed to depart on the plane. It so much going on at one time it was hard to keep track of what I was supposed to do but my mom had prepared me very well so it was going fine until I seen the TSA screening area I had to take off my shoes belt and then I had to empty my pockets get rid of any metal on me my phone and table had to go in small bucket. The TSA agent scanned me with a metal detector after he did that he told me to walk through a machine. After that was over I had to get all my belongings out of the small bucket and back in my pocket and I had to put my shoes back on and my belt. Then they looked through all my bags they moved my clothes and checked every small pocket on the bag. After that I went to grab a snack at the food court even the lines at food court were very long. Then, I went to waiting area to wait until the plane arrived to board the plane I had an hour left until my plane got there so just sat down and played a video game on my tablet while I waited I started to wonder how many people went through an airport every day. I felt bad for TSA agents who had to go through that many people every while standing you would have to be a multitasker to work at an airport. I said to myself I would hate to have this job I wouldn’t be able to do what these workers do on the daily bases. While waiting for the plane to arrive more people showed up to the waiting area. Most of them were polite as they walked by smiled and said hi others weren’t so nice someone even stepped on my shoe and me be careful I looked at them said “you need to you’re the one stepping on me”. They just kept walking like nothing had happened. I saw some children playing a game to pass the time it reminded me of when I was little making up games just make time go faster. Finally the plane had arrived, when I looked out the window I seen an enormous air plane being towed by a very small car.
I was astonished by the sight of the enormous plane I was getting ready to board. The plane was ready for everybody to board every one stood up and formed a line to start boarding the plane. They checked our tickets to make sure we wouldn’t go on the wrong airline flight. I wanted to get a window seat so I can look outside from high in the sky. It was an amazing view from up above the clouds it just looks like a blanket of white puffy pillows as far as the eye can see. I took a couple of pictures so I can show the family how wonderful it looked up in the sky. When we encountered some turbulence it was extremely terrifying everything was trembling it came at worst time ever because I had a drink in my hand when it started and the soda fell on me and the floor and some even spilt on the passenger in the seat next to me. I started to apologize for what happened he said it was fine I told him it was my first time I didn’t know that was going to happen. He smiled and said “the same thing happened to me my first flight I had some soda on the women next to me”. We just shared couple of stories to make the time to by faster he was very friendly and liked jokes. The rest of the flight was smooth and no turbulence so it was a good thing for both of us the speaker turned on and the pilot said we would star descending and that we were not allowed to get until we …show more content…
landed. I looked out the window and seen the ground it was a very cool sight. We finally landed everyone started to get their luggage and waited until the doors opened so we can get out and go were supposed to I seen my uncles waiting on me to get through airport security. When I was done I went towards them and gave them a hug. That was my personal experience of being on a plane my very first time.
Trying to get my destination at the same time as all the other people at the airport. Then going through the check points. Next waiting on the plane to arrive so that we can board the plane. Then the four hour flight to Mexico. It turned out to be a great experience for me and I would love to go on another plane ride soon but this time I know what do and what to
expect.
When traveling to a foreign country you never know what to expect. Curiosity of people and cultural norms race through your head. That is how I felt the first time I flew into the Puerto Vallarta airport with my friend Ashley.
I love riding four wheelers. I also love to adventure so I guess you could say my character trait is being adventurous. I’ve been riding my whole life, you think I’m kidding but my mom even rode four wheelers when she was pregnant with me so yeah. I got my very first four wheeler when I was three and I rode it till I was nine, but then I wanted to ride with the big boys or girls or whatever. When I was ten I got Yamaha blaster two hundred. It was my first manual transmission four wheeler. It was also a fixer upper, so I restored it to original condition and learned valuable knowledge along the way. So now I know a lot about four wheelers. When I got done fixing it it was a lot better than before. So I figured I was ready to learn how ride a
When I entered the airplane I was as excited as a 6-year-old could be about losing the people she loved the most. The greatest aspect of my fear was the idea of losing my mother. As a child, I always
The sound of music, filling the air with happiness, resonates throughout the area. The scent of delicious buttery popcorn and glazed turkey legs that go on for miles and miles. The feeling of excitement coming into the place is felt in the atmosphere. It is the image of a once in a lifetime moment. When people come in, their imaginations become reality. The name describes itself perfectly. Walt Disney World is the place of dreams and imagination. People come from all around the world to see the rides, characters, food and the entertainment of Walt Disney World. I remember when I went to Disney World this past March. It was the third time I have gone to Disney World. To see the amazement and the expectation of the
Now that I am of age and gain a little bit of knowledge of aviation by taking this class I am completely positive that I want to become a pilot. I want to experience the thrill of flying around the world and also flying people there so they experience the same thing as me. I didn’t know much about aviation until this class and now I see I there is still a lot more to learn. I have just scratched the service. With hard work and dedication I believe this goal of mine will be obtain and conquered. Achieving this goal will complete my, “Intrinsic Motivations” of personal, making a difference in the world and satisfaction of doing a good job. Not only do I have my “Intrinsic Motivations” completed but also my “Extrinsic Motivations” of showing my
It took about 45 minutes to get the airport. Thoughts were rushing through my mind the whole time of what Florida would be like. I had gone twice before, but I was really young and I couldn't remember anything from those trips. My cousins met us at the airport and my grandparents
We left our house at two in the morning because if we left at that time, we would be able to make it to Florida around eleven. I didn’t mind waking up that early, my sister on the other hand didn’t like the idea since she likes to sleep in. So she wasn’t in the best mood when we went to the airport. When we got to the airport, we met with my grandparents, uncle, and cousin. We got checked in and had wait until our flight.
First, I had to take a flight from Phoenix to Los Angeles. Then when we arrived in Los Angeles we had to go through the security process to another country. I waited to a line that lasted for almost an hour, they checked my bags, asked for my passport, and patted me down. Soon I boarded my flight to London, England. As I walked onto the plane I realized this was the biggest planes I have ever seen. The plane was two stories and had multiple sections. I saw first class and wished I could have the luxury of sitting up in those giant spacious chairs. Sat down in my coach seat and dreaded this twelve hour flight of no leg room. I looked around to see all other girls from the west coast that also won All American. Once again anxiety flooded my body, I knew absolutely no one
My internal organs thumped against my chest as I dragged my bag along the carpet floor and into the corridor. As I walked into the long hall, I glanced up and noticed the sign telling me I could get on. My entire body could barely hold itself together with the anticipation of the monumental, dream-come-true event about to take place. I said to myself, "I'll soon be in the air." I slowed my pace to further enjoy what was happening. Swarms of people walked around me as I treasured knowing that one of my lifetime goals was now inevitably going to occur. The excitement and adrenaline running through my veins could have killed a horse.
We got to o’hare airport in Chicago so we can got to the excited trip to Hawaii. When I got on the plane I was scared and anxious cause I never been in a plane. When the plane started I started to panic and I also started to cry cause I was terrified. I started to feel better so I just ate food that my mom ordered for me. I was sitting separately with my sister and my stepdad, brother, and mom were sitting somewhere else. I tried to sleep it was very hard to sleep cause it was a tight space.
Personally, that I have been flying regularly for the last ten years. From just a few years before I joined the Navy in 2005, our family started taking their first trips by aircraft. Living on the East Coast, we could always drive to a fairly close location that would involve summer family getaway's, so passenger airline travel was unnecessary for the larger part of 16 years of my life. In fact, I had never flown on a aircraft at all until the summer of 2003, just a few weeks after completing 10th grade. My first flight was on an Air Tran operated Boeing 737, and I will never forget that experience. I gripped the armrests as if I was controlling the aircraft for most of that leg between Richmond, Virginia and Atlanta, Georgia. Remembering the smell of the aircraft not b...
When I was seven years old I went on my very first holiday abroad, to
How many times have an average person flown in an airplane, did people ever think what the world would be like without them? Airplanes have provided people with opportunities to go all over the world to experience different cultures and places. They also create jobs for many people which contributes to how they boost the economy. In conclusion, they appear as a more clean way to travel, helping out the Earth. The airplane was one of the most important inventions due to it creating jobs, creating easier cultural access, causes economic boosts, and created less pollution than most means of travel and also has an interesting history.
I can still remember how excited I was before take off, I mean it felt like forever while we sat in the plane waiting to take off. Just all the anticipation that was inside of me had just made the wait even longer for me. Finally, I heard the pilot say 'prepare for take off'. When I heard those words I was so overjoyed I could hardly contain myself. That rush I got once the plane took off was an experience like no other. The plane ride was about hours long and I enjoyed every minute of it. Little did I know, that was less than half of the fun I was going to have at Orlando.
I was able to spend a lot of time with my family, our friends, and play all sorts of games. This experience made me start to like traveling. Every time I would get the chance to travel, I will take that chance. We were able to go to a theme park, eat many delicious foods, and play many video
