I would like to live in GatlinBurg Tennessee because it’s near the campsite I always go to when I go camping in the summer. Even though Pigeon Forge had a huge fire last year it still don’t change the fact that i want to live there. I would go to all the exciting stores, restaurants, shows and even the aquarium that they have there in Tennessee too. We also went to ride some of the roller coasters there too they weren't as exciting as kings island but it was still dope. Another awesome thing we did was where there was this huge poll and it had a rope attached to the top and they would harness you on it and when they started it you would go into the air and start going around in circles. It was pretty scary too. The last time I went there
I would have preferred to live in Pennsylvania out of all the thirteen colonies. Pennsylvania was a very prosperous colony due to the fact that everyone had economic opportunity. Also, the people had civil liberty, allowing them to surpass the other colonies that had multiple restrictions. In addition, they had religious freedom unlike other colonies. Pennsylvania had many great features compared to the other colonies.
My favorite place to be would be the city and are of McGregor Minnesota. About eight miles north of the small town is Big Sandy Lake, which is where my cabin is located. This is truly my favorite place to be, especially during the warm summer months.
Many people desire a place to go where they can fulfill are there desires. Many people yearn for a place to go where they can carry out there wildest dreams. I have found my place to encompass all of these feelings. My place of escape was New Orleans, Louisiana. Since Hurricane Katrina devastated the country with its monstrous winds. New Orleans was a perfect place designed for amusement, vacation, and partying. Thousands of people came from all over the world to experience what New Orleans had to offer. From its hotels, music, food, and diversity, New Orleans provides a load of variety that most cities can't come close
Oklahoma. Not only did I get to hear about the places I wanted to go visit, but now I
Have you ever been to Texas? I have been once. My trip to Texas was unbelievably awesome. I saw many of things on my way there. While we were there, I had loads of fun. Many things happened while we were there. Texas was the coolest place I have ever been.
When you are a military spouse, moving frequently is common, which makes finding a place to call home difficult. Colorado was where I was born and raised. However, Texas was home to me. I enjoyed the warm weather, and how I was only a fourteen hour drive from home. While living in Texas, I learned a lot about myself and grew as a person. I had a great career opportunity managing a 240 unit apartment complex, I had good friends and enjoyed everything Texas had to offer.
My memory of strolling up and down St. George Street in St. Augustine is more than just a cherished flashback, it’s the start of a new life. Prior to moving to Florida, both of my parents were in the Navy, resulting in our family having to move all around the East Coast frequently. When it was revealed that we would finally settle down in Florida, our first visit would be none other than the oldest city in the United States, St. Augustine. This memory of St. Augustine is so important to me because it piqued my interest in history, it gave me a chance to spend time with my mom, and I was able to witness my first sunset.
There are very few things in life I enjoy quite as much as fall. love that it is no longer a million degrees… but the thing that I love the absolute most on the stinkin’ planet is THE TEXAS RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL.
The story of my life when I first moved to Greenville, South Carolina, I went to school at Greenville Middle. When
Growing up here I felt safe, and I suspect, I existed within a bubble where the problems of the world didn't exist, but with such a world there was also a lot of boredom. Vacaville
In my life there has been many actions I had to take in order to be where I am at now. I had to go through thick and thin and jump every obstacle put in my way. However, there was a specific action I did that changed my life forever. Around the age of 14 I decided to take a big leap and move from my hometown in Mexico to Austin, Texas. Coming to Texas from Mexico was a drastic change for me from the language to the culture. I had to leave my life and family behind and start from zero again. This transition was very hard for me, doubt roamed my mind. I began to fear the unknown. Had I made the right decision in coming in search of a better life? I asked myself this question every day until I realized that I had. I knew I did not move to Texas
I would go to Hawaii because I want to be in a peaceful and tropical environment. I’d also go to see a volcano up close. Also to sit under shady palm trees and drink from a cocoanut . I would go to a tropical forest there to see all the different creatures. Then I would try all their different foods.
The place where I would like to call me second home is located all the way down in Savanna Georgia. I can remember way back about nine years ago in the summer of 2008. The plane ride was a long and hot, and I spent the whole ride playing on my PSP. When I got off the plane I remembered walking through the freezing cold Savanna International Airport seeing all the flags of different countries hanging from the ceiling, but then taking one step out of the airport front doors looking for the car services that was rented and feeling the crushing 100°F heat and deathly humidity. But it is all worth the painful heat to spend time in the beautiful city.
My Special place would have to be the Softball field. It doesn’t matter where. The smell of the fresh cut grass, the smell of popcorn, and the smell of food from the food vendors. The sound of people laughing, kids playing, softballs hitting softball gloves, the sound of bats hitting softballs. Seeing people have fun, seeing the fresh laid chalk lines, the scoreboards lit up bright, the umpires getting ready for the games, teams warming up. Then you walk onto the field and feel the soft dirt under your cleats, the soft grass on the infield. There’s nothing like it. To me this is heaven. I spent my whole life on the ball field. Whether it was baseball, or softball I have always been on or around a field. When I get to the field all my worries,
Growing up my grandparents had a second house in Onalaska, Texas, a small town about two hours out of Houston. We would drive up every weekend to get away from the crowded city life. The town was very quiet with only one road going through it and one stop light to slow you down. The single road was lined by restaurants and shops ran by the good people that lived in the town. Population was low and everyone seemed to know your name.
