A beach vacation, can you imagine! The hot sun, the fresh, clear blue water, and stepping onto the burning hot sand. Sounds like a great way to spend your summer, doesn’t it? Out of the whole week being spent in Clearwater Beach, Florida, my best experience was the day we were at the beach all morning and later that evening went dolphin sight-seeing on a cute decorative boat. Get ready to get splash, rocked by a boat and step onto the hot golden sand of one of Florida’s hot South shore beaches. Waking up in the early morning so that we done waste our time lying in bed on this appealing vacation we got the opportunity to take, we all got ready for the beach with puffy eyes and awful morning breath. Looking out the sliding balcony doors feeling the glistening air enter the hotel room felt so refreshing as if you received a shot of energy. Beginning to put on our …show more content…
The water felt as cool after running as it felt like hot rocks, the water felt like stepping on ice just as it melts. Before anything, the dark toned ones put on sun screen and the others applied tan spray to get that golden brown tan we let them set onto our thirsty skin, we grabbed out goggles and boogie boards and dove into the cold, blue water. We played around, looked for cute rocks and sea shells at the very bottom, it was so amazing how clear the water could be, we would catch waves to surf them and just swim along with them. Racing back and forth we scraped our poor sensitive knees at the shore where all the broken sea shells that brush on the south beach shore and stay behind with most of the sand. We spent most of our day playing at the beach, let me tell you, time flies when you’re having fun. We had to rush back to the hotel, so that we can all have time to shower and get cute for our family evening
I have been to Florida a billion times, but there are only two places that I normally visit. Sanibel Island and Destin. Traveling to Sanibel Island is almost like a tradition for my family because every year we try to go down there. My grandparents first went to Sanibel with my whole family (cousins and all) about 15 years ago and ever since then, it has been our family’s main “vacation spot”. I have gone to Sanibel almost every year, but last year I also went to Destin. Now the main reason we decided to go there as well is because we wanted to travel somewhere nearby the panhandle of Florida. The water and beaches are also very contrasting in comparison to Sanibel. Sanibel’s beaches even had heaps of sea shells going out into the water. The sand is also more dense than that of Destin. Even Sanibel’s water is darker and more cloudy, so it was crazy to see Destin’s water so clear! The beach (which is called Emerald Cove, where I stayed at) had sand that was so white and soft it
The first thing I heard was Virginia Beach vacation, and then in excitement I ran and got my stuff and started to pack. The part I was most excited about was that the hotel is a beachfront hotel room.I was so excited because I love the beach and I really wanted to go back to the beachfront hotel and stay there. I went there when I was in second grade. I have gotten to go there a few times since second grade, but I did not get to stay there overnight.
It was a murky overcast summer's eve; crisp morsels of rain splashed on the ground vigorously. Sounds of jet engines buzzed in the back of my ear lobes through the torrential downpour. The common sight of the departure time of our flight being delayed yet again caught my eye as we turned the corner towards the gate. Almost an hour later we began to finally line up at the gate to get on the what then seemed massive jet plane. I remember looking out the gigantic floor to ceiling windows at providence airport at the bright blue, red and orange of the jet, so excited to be going on it. Our family carefully chose seats right near the wing emergency exits. I rushed to the window seat, plopped down and buckled my seat belt. I was ready to go to Florida. I barely took up half of the seat, I was 8 or 9, and as a curious kid I was touching nearly anything I could put my hands on. I remember soon after we sat down in the back row on the left of the aircraft the same side as us, I heard a great commotion. A woman at the back was on the phone telling her friend she had drugs and she just took them. Not soon after three men boarded the plane. One had
There I stand on the Atlantic Ocean beach in Daytona, Florida. It’s 7:49 A.M, June 28, 2015. I feel my size ten feet sink into the frosty sand. With my board in my left arm, and sand covering my body, I seize my direction towards the blue ocean. As I halt at the base of the monumental ocean, I gaze in both directions, not a life in sight. I feel at peace, solitude, in my own meager world. As the crisp ocean mist wipes my sand replete face, I bounce into the ocean with my board under my body, cruising into the profound blue sea.
Have you ever had a day that you never wanted to end? The soothing sound of waves slowing crashing on the beach, the sweet smell of the salty pacific, freezing cold water nipping at your toes. That’s my paradise. Tampa Florida has been part of my life growing up, my grandparents have always lived there during the snowy winter months in Michigan. My family always travels to Florida to visit them over spring break and we always have an amazing time. But the spring break of 2012 was by far the best. Trekking to the beach every morning and soaking up the sun, playing volleyball and swimming with my family, venturing to new places and just exploring the city. I could not think of a more perfect vacation.
In my life I have so many amazing and fun memories. I honestly can't think of a memory or a time in my life that was bad or impacted me in a negative way. But if I had to pick a memory to go back and change I would change the memory of my trip to Florida. The reason I chose this memory is because I can't remember a lot of what happened on the trip. I remember that it was my first time riding on an airplane and I remember my grandma Cathy throwing up in a bag on the plane. I also remember that when we landed and went to our resort I saw my very first scorpion.
Imagine exploring sandy, white beaches and indulging in mouthwatering seafood. If I could travel anywhere, the one place I would travel to is Florida. I want to go to Florida because of the fun attractions and the exquisite food. The first thing I would do in Florida is go to Clearwater Beach. Last summer I went to Florida, and went to the attractions Clearwater Beach offered. Everytime visit Florida, I go to the beach. One of my favorite parts about vacationing in Florida is the warm, sunny weather.
Every time I go to the beach I always walk away with a memorable experience. I can still remember meeting my friends there every summer Thursday when I was a child. Nothing about this place has changed. I still eat sandwiches that crunch with every bite from tiny grains of sand that get captured between the meats. I can still lie out on my towel and have good conversation with buddies that float us away to the times when we couldn’t even drive. This is a place of escape. I can’t wait to see what adventures will come to me the next time.
There are parks and beaches where you can enjoy with your family. Example of them include: Palm Beach Municipal Beach and the Phipps Ocean Park, which is a small beach with tennis courts and picnic areas with barbecue grills. You can take the family out for a wholesome kind of family fun at the
It was like we all gather in one spot just to get away from our problems and have a good time. The crisp air, good vibes, and the taste of great barbercue, there is no place like the beach, the beach was like our stress reliever also a place where we can go and just have a great time together.
The beach was created along the seafront shortly after WW II. Good sand for the beach is trucked in. The sections of the beach are separated by three concrete jetties. Stretching along the beach are restaurants, bars and bistros. To find your preferred place on the beach you have to arrive early during the peak summer season. This is a public beach and since prices are pretty steep for a sun bed and umbrella you should bring your own. This is a family-friendly beach but you must be careful of jellyfish so look for the flag flying from the lifeguard stand when they’re present. You can book jet skis and banana boat rides. For more action there is windsurfing, parasailing, a roller blade and skateboard area. For the little ones there is a toddler playground. Everything you could want to do or see is within walking distance from the
Just travelling all the way down to Florida was an opportunity to see new things. While on the way down there I got to travel through four different states and saw how their geography differed from one another. Once we got there we were reunited with my great aunt and uncle that we hadn’t seen in years. They showed us the best places to eat around town. I remember one restaurant we went to didn’t look like it would be any good. However, the seafood there tasted so fresh and crisp it was unlike any other seafood restaurants I had been to. The food was not the only thing that made Panama City Beach different from all the others. Snorkeling was an adventure that we took while we were down there. There was a designated swimming pond on one of the beaches. It was called a swimming pond because rocks formed a half circle making the water calm between the rocks and the shore. The waters were clear so you could easily see creatures from the ocean below you. This leads me to talk about how gorgeous the beaches were down there. I remember the first time I walked out on one of the beaches, it looked so different. The sand was white as snow and the water was crystal clear! I had never seen anything like it in my life. When my foot first stepped on that white sand, I felt like I was on an island far away from the modern day rush. The air was
One of my most favorite memories is from last summer when my parents and my three teenage siblings, and I took a trip to the Gulf of Mexico. We spent the weekend at a vacation home in Bradenton Beach Florida. First, we started out our trip by each of us packing what we would need for the weekend and loading it up in the truck. Next, while my dad was connecting our boat, my mom told us kids to bring our ear buds, phones, phone chargers, and a pillow to prepare for a very long and boring trip. Then, we stopped at McDonalds for breakfast before we got on the road, because my mom did not want to deal with hungry, angry teenagers on the trip. Finally, we arrived a few hours later and began our beach vacation which consisted of a pristine white sandy
I had a great time over summer break it was fun and I hung out with a ton of my friends they are all great. The most exciting thing I did was went to Florida to visit my sister that I haven’t seen in awhile and I got to see my niece and nephew too. When we got to Florida it was three in the morning and we stopped at a hotel about fifteen minutes from where my sister lived. It was me and my brother’s first time in Florida and we were super excited to be there and to get to see our sister. We did a ton of other stuff over the summer too.
