Also, how the other person view himself or herself; this means that in communication between two persons the second person may see himself or herself more voluble, soft-spoken and respectful more than the other person. After that, how the other person views you; this can show how the receiver of a message sees the sender. This means, he or she may have bad or good impression about the sender of the message. In every society nonverbal communication is one of the most powerful tools that a person can use to interpret the message that is being delivered. Even though verbal communication is fairly straightforward, nonverbal communication allows others to sense the true emotions of the person that is expressing them. For example even though a person may say that they are not irritated, their usage of voice may display otherwise. Nonverbal communication not only reveals hidden messages, but it also complements, substitutes, and exaggerates verbal communication.
People need to be understood. Being misunderstood leads to communication barriers. People need to be able to express themselves so that the message reaches the receiver. Different cultures have different ways of doing this, so it is important to realize that communication can be interpreted differently.
Perceptions, and how they might possibly influence me, whether I like it or not, I usually get them all wrong, then again I would rather not have to assume anything about someone. Passing judgment, assumptions or anything that makes me think twice about someone, I tend to stay away from, not because I can come off as passive aggressive, but because when I am wrong, I tend to feel like a jerk afterwards and I must apologize for my interpretation, and potentially misguided judgment. Lots of people thinks that they know themselves very well; they have a right way of communication, they know how to listen and respond to others, even emotional intelligence. However after I have done my observe behavior interview to my friends, I believe that self-reflection is important to everyone to understand and improve our own communication styles.
