Have you ever thought about what was hard for you to talk about? Depending on who you are and where you are from may determine what may be is hard for you to talk about. Different people go through many different things in life and it can be difficult to explain or even share with others or maybe the person is not ready to discuss the issues. Most people may say that the loss of someone is something that is hard to speak on and I would agree, but there are many other things that difficult to talk about. Something may be racism, the next chapter of your life, or even talking to parents about certain things.
The most common thing that is hard to talk about, in my opinion, is the loss of someone. When I think about losing someone I think about death, not seeing someone for a long time, and missing the relationship that

When growing up you did not have to worry about a lot of things such as bills, money, or even a job; so when the time comes for some people to grow up and make their own decisions, they do not know where to begin. If someone was to ask them “what are you going to do now,” they would not know how to respond to that question because it is something that is hard for them to talk about. As some kids begin to grow up they start thinking about what they want to do when they get older, but other kids do not; so as adults it can be difficult for them to speak on because they never thought about it. I believe that when deciding what your next step in life is going to be will be hard because you do not want to make the wrong choice. It can be also hard to speak on because there maybe someone that is looking up to you or maybe there is someone judging you. That next step can also make or break you. If you do not succeed in what you are trying to do, it can be even more difficult to talk to someone about, because you have put all of your hard work into
“Speak” by Laurie Halse Anderson presents Melinda’s (a teenage girl) life as she drifts through her adolescent years, where she struggles to overcome internal depression, as well as typical issues, involving her social life. Melinda’s life in an obscure world, where enigmatic challenges constantly clog her path towards a normal and healthy life, she feels lost and betrayed. Likewise, the boy that raped her attends the same school as her, causing her to have constant memories of the event. Thus, Melinda’s defective life compromising of rape, lack of communication, and depression mirrors the lives of many teens around the world. In addition, this book revolves around the dominant theme of adolescence, resulting to an effect of a realistic- fiction novel.
It can be hard to know what one wants to do when they’re older. There are certain things to consider, like a level of interest in the topic, how much information one would already know, how much that will be needed to know, and to take in if this is what one would want to do in their future life. I know for me when I have to think about future plans it can really worry me. I tend to get stressed out, scared, and wanting to avoid the topic entirely, even though in the back of my mind I know I need to stop running away with what I need to currently take care of. It’s a lot like in the tragedy play of Macbeth. There was so much pressure to always be something more. If a right hand man of the king wasn’t good enough, then he had to be king himself.
It all started in high school, as a person, I was far from being responsible. School was just a place to meet friends, spent most of my time playing around, and never thought about the future. But gradually, my parents were getting worried about me. One night, I was in my room when they called, and asked me to go to the living room. I looked at their faces and I knew that we were going to have a serious conversation, and I was right. They tried to give me an advice, an advice on how time flies and I never had the ability to turn it back. That life was about making the right decision, and there were options and opportunities presented to me. Whether they were good or bad, I need to think of what was best for me and made a decision on which options or opportunities I would take, so I had not regretted my decision later on in my life. When I heard this, I realized that all this time, I had been wasting time playing around and I need to think about the future. For a couple of days, I was weighing my option left and right about what to do after graduated. Should I go straight to...
From the outside looking in you might say that it is hard but it is relatively simple to do. People cannot tell that till they try it and actually see it personally. Growing up for everybody is different. It is supposed to be that why so that everybody has gone by the same road. Growing up is inherently painful because life is not a simple job to do. There is supposed to be tough times in life and times that are really bad just so that you know where you came from and to see what you are today. If that did not happen what would everybody be doing because we will be like kids for the rest of our lives, but that will never happen. Also it is painful to show us that we have to work to have what we have so we can appreciate the things that we work for. Do you appreciate the decision that you made in the path you decided to take in life to be what you are today?
In 1943, with World War 2 in full throttle, Ayn Rand’s novel “The Fountainhead” was published. Written during a chaotic period in history, this book appeals to the reader's emotions by promoting individual rights, capitalism, and romantic realism. Rand advocated reason along with ethical and rational egoism and opposed collectivism. The main protagonist in the book is named “Howard Roark”. Howard Roark has a love interest named “Dominique Francon”. Dominique is in love with Roark yet she still wants to destroy him because Dominique thinks that Roark’s greatness is going to go unappreciated.
William Golding , the author of The Lord of the flies believes that evil resides in all human beings. The Lord of the Flies begins softly but nearing the end everything turns upside down. But would the world be the same way it is today without societal structure and rules? Only through societal structure, rules and order will humans be thought morality/principal and proper behaviour. The Lord of the Flies demonstrates what society would look like/resort to without any rules or guidance for man to follow. Others might believe this is true because of natural evil and actions done by individuals, a comparison through savagery and civilization, and certain truths in the world that are evil.
In this essay I will compare person-Centred counselling with cognitive-Behavioural counselling and their different approaches and why the counselling relationship is so important. There will be a brief outline of what Person Centred and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy.
Human reason has not always been a presence in our daily lives. Doing the right thing, being ethical, and making educated decisions, one would think, are the ideal principles behind human nature. Sadly, only in more recent times has human reason shed its good grace on more modern societies. For many centuries, constant war and the reconstruction to nations, countries, and empires led to the rise and fall of many different leaders and in tow their governments. Within such societies, political spokesmen like Machiavelli, Locke, and Marx, interpret their ideas to the people, which still remain significant to this day. One of their main focuses was to raise awareness, on their ideas on trust and human reason. While Locke and Marx urge us to have faith in human reason, as a positive means to society, Machiavelli would claim the contrary. The concept of human nature and reason to both John Locke and Karl Marx juxtaposes that of Machiavelli’s, and their notions derive from their different eras, economies, environments, and strict governments, which ultimately shaped their ideologies on human nature.

Most children seem to have ideas of what they would like to be when they grow up. The average person walking into any kindergarten class today would find future teachers, lawyers, doctors, nurses, astronauts, firefighters, and ballerinas; the list is endless. I never had the chance to even dream about what I wanted to be when I grew up and was given little chance to develop my own tastes and ideas towards this goal. I spent my childhood trying to be the good example to my younger brother and sister that my father demanded in his letters. All the while I was hoping and praying that my mother and father would get back together. The only thing I knew was being a mom and that is what I thought I wanted to be.
As we start to grow, we begin to build relationships that can be temporary or last a lifetime. These relationships help us learn more about ourselves and also about others. We learn how to build friendships and relationships from a young age, and we learn to cherish the people who stay for the long run. Then again, we also learn about the emptiness that is felt once someone dearly decides to no longer be in your life. With this being said I will be writing about my interpersonal relationship that I have with my boyfriend Jorge. Not only about our history and how we communicate, but as well as how we overcome conflict and the power that we each hold.
As a psychologist-in-training, I see relationship as the key to change with my clients and as such I agree with the statement that relationships with others are seen as the fundamental cornerstone of human development. There are a number of theoretical perspectives and research studies that we’ve covered this semester that supports this claim. In this essay, I will discuss theoretical perspective and research that emphasize the important of relationship as part of human development.
There are many differences between friends and family, such as whether the relationship will change, what kind of relationships they have and if they live together or not. Each parts show the essential differences between them.
There are many things that make humans, human. One major component is the capacity to form and maintain relationships. These relationships are absolutely necessary for any of us to survive, learn, work, love, and procreate. Human relationships take many forms but the most intense, most pleasurable and most painful are those relationships with family, friends and loved ones. Within this inner circle of intimate relationships, we are bonded to each other with emotional paste — bonded with love.
