You can use any color of the mini lights. You can also use the flashing bulb to make the tree twinkle. 1 inch by a half inch framing lumber. The framing lumber will make the support brace for the board it. This will make the board sturdier when placing it outside. Screws or nails. The screws or nails will be used to attach the frame to the board. They will also be used for adding the ground stakes for placing the it in your yard. Ground stakes. The ground stakes can be made out of one inch by one inch framing wood. One long piece will be more than enough to make the stakes for the tree. A staple gun. The staple gun will be used to attach the mini lights to the back of the pegboard. By doing this, it will ensure the tree lights stay in place. Tape. (Optional) Using masking tape to tape the wiring of the lights in place before stapling will help you in making sure of the proper placement of the lights. Polyurethane. Use the polyurethane to coat the wood and pegboard to protect it from the elements of winter. Also, the polyurethane on the front of the Christmas tree will reflect the Christmas lights too. Saw.
