. On the off chance that I could meet any popular performer it would be the amazing Paul McCartney. McCartney is a great singer, songwriter, musician, and composer. He was also a member of the renowned band called The Beatles, including John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Star. During his career with The Beatles, they recorded twenty-four studio albums and received countless gold and platinum records. In McCartney's solo career, he also had twenty-four studio albums. Paul McCartney is a massive role model to me for various reasons and it would be an honor to meet such a noble individual.
What is a Role Model? A role model is someone that inspires you and someone that you are interested in learning more about. According to Studymode.com, Ray Lewis was born May 15, 1975 and is a linebacker who has played for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL since 1996. Lewis has been selected to eleven Pro Bowls and been named an Associated Press All-Pro nine times. He won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2000 and 2003; he was the sixth player to win the award multiple times. He was also the second linebacker to win the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award and the first linebacker to win the award on the winning Super Bowl team. Ray Lewis is a great NFL defensive man and has broken records throughout the history of NFL. Not once did he not give up or not try hard enough. He always tried and played at his best. Being the man that he is, he may have inspired men and young boys around the country to push themselves through each and every practice despite the pain they may have experienced the next day just to continue in the sport that they know and love.
All different ethical theories can look at the same problem and come to different conclusions. Even philosopher’s such as Singer and Arthur understand and view ethical values differently. Peter Singer who uses the utilitarian theory believes that wealthy people should give to the degree that the wealthy person now someone in need themselves. John Arthur believes those in need or those suffering are only entitled to the help of the wealthy person if that person agrees to help, and that the property rights of the wealthy person declines the amount that Singer believes people should. People should help other people. I believe all people deserve the right to receive assistance and to not help those people would be morally wrong. However, I do not believe that the help that we are morally obligated to give should come at the cost of our own well-being.
According to the book Celebrity Politics, approximately 10 percent of Americans get national political news from nightly entertainment shows such as the Tonight Show. For Americans under 30, the number is nearly five times as many (Orman and West 100). Citizens are looking to be entertained rather than simply educated by the nightly news. As David Schultz aptly put it, “ The new media cover politics, but only politics as it entertains, in part, because the audience the new media attract is a less politically interested audience than traditional news audiences” (20). The fact is that this American audience is less interested in hard news and more interested in entertainment, which has made celebrities effective activists and endorsers of aid organizations in this increasingly celebrity-obsessed society.
This essay is based on the biography of the life of John Lennon, life with Yoko Ono and the murderer Mark Chapman. It is an essay on based his way of life, and his achievements obtained til the day of his death.
It can be the case that we as affluent individuals; consider an act such as donating money as supererogatory rather than one of obligation. Singer holds the position that it is not an act of generosity nor beneficence, but of moral obligation. If we fail to do an obliged act, then we are morally wrong. He argues that when we are spending large sums of money on unnecessary luxuries, we should think of those in impoverishment.

When it comes to choosing an individual who has positively influenced my life, a handful of ideal names come to mind from all primary aspects of my experiences. People like Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys, River Phoenix, James Dean, writer and renowned journalist Hunter S. Thompson, my brother Michael, and extraordinary musicians including Bob Dylan, Sam Cooke, and my personal goddess, Stevie Nicks. While all these people have changed and inspired me in specific ways, there's one person that impacts my daily decisions, thoughts, and actions more prominently than anyone else could. Since the day I was born, I've had the advantage of being exposed to the music that has changed the world, making musicians and their creations the main source of
My last guest is music artist Ja Rule. He is a rap/ hip hop artist, but his voice and appearance is really nice. I wanted him to come to my party to not only be a guest but to perform, that is what the music equipment is for.
When daytime talk show programs first appeared on television in the 1950s, they mostly consisted of celebrities gathered around a coffee table discussing secrets about trivial things, such as how to make the best sponge cake. It is unlikely that these shows promoted positive changes in the lives of their viewers in any substantial way. In the early 1970s, Phil Donahue introduced a new variety of talk show. His show was characterized as "an exercise in sociopolitical discourse," but was, in actuality, more successful for its coverage of titillating issues than important ones (Moorti sc 2-3).
When people think about the 60’s the majority of them all think about the Beatles. The Beatles is a band that made Rock and Roll a totally, different type of music. Even though The Beatles were such a hit, as time went on they started to fall apart. Over 50 years later, the Beatles are still classified as one of the best band of all time.
I like music. Whenever I listen to my favorite music, I feel good. My favorite musician is John Lennon. I have reasons why I like him and why I choose John Lennon as famous person.
The best thing would be the chance to meet them or even potentially talk to them. Celebrities
Ever since I was in eighth grade, I have been obsessed with Taylor Swift. She has been my role model since I was thirteen. When you look at most singers today, they have to be singing about drugs or alcohol, using vulgar language, or performing half-dressed. You never see Taylor Swift doing anything that she would be ashamed of later in life. On the other hand, she has had many relationships that have lasted short time periods. At least, she is not getting married for 72 days or even 24 hours such Kim Kardashian or Britney Spears. This is why I chose to write a research paper on her.
I had never really been to a big concert that had a well-known band. A couple of weeks before the concert I got some information about it, but really didn't think much of it. I talked with some friends about the band and we all casually decided to go get tickets for it. Little did I know what an absolutely spectacular time I would have.
When people ask what my favorite sport is, I quickly reply soccer. I never really gave much thought to who my favorite soccer player is until I saw Lionel Messi for the first time. I saw him play for Argentina and he showed me how great soccer really is. He has a great style of both teamwork and individual skill. The ability he has to keep control of the ball is what made me interested in soccer. Without him, who knows if I would even begin to enjoy soccer. He shows both individual skill and the importance of teamwork. He does not only score a ton of goals, but also gives many assists. Lionel Messi, in my opinion, is one of the greatest soccer players in history. Lionel Messi is most definitely one of my role models. Messi doesn’t only teach me how to improve on individual skill but also can show me the importance of not showing off. The soccer skill that this man has is unbelievable. Lionel Messi is a great role model.
