The topic of medicine and medical advances always have been a great interest to me. Growing up, I have always been interested in the sciences. Throughout schooling, I found myself to thoroughly enjoy my science and math classes, primarily lab days in science as the process of experimentation was very interesting. Learning the material was so fascinating, as the methods of problem-solving and the abstract conceptual pieces of both subjects were challenging yet captivating. Due to such an interest, I found corresponding clubs that I could join that gave me the opportunity to compete with such information, such as Science Olympiad and Math League. These important individuals have the knowledge and the power to provide aid to those around them. By closely examining the potentially infected tissues of one's body, one can access if that patient is at risk for certain diseases. These diseases can range from very common, like diabetes, or very serious, like cancer. Without these amazing individuals, many diseases may be left to be unknown as there would be no one to identify infected cells. Therefore, to dedicate my time to something as life-changing and inspiring as this career choice would be a dream come true. This amazing job would bring joy to me every day, as this job lets me use both using math and science in real life in combination with helping people. Becoming a pathologist has been my dream for years now, and aspire to make it a reality. College, I believe, will give me the biggest opportunity to both further my passion for learning, and to learn more about topics that amaze me. By learning and experiencing the essential information about the sciences, and many more components to medicine, my passion for such a topic can be continued. In the future, I hope to find myself in the medical field, making a difference in the world we live in and furthering my passion in
