There are many helpful ideas that are important to your mental and emotional health.

Do things that positively impacts others: by being useful to other people and feeling like what you do or have done has meaning and can help your self- esteem. Practice self-discipline: by practicing self-discipline it can lead to having a sense of hopefulness and it can help you overcome helplessness and negative thoughts. Limit unhealthy mental habits: by limiting mental habits like worrying try to avoid receptive mental habits like negative thoughts about yourself. By using these three healthy behaviors, I feel that they could be helpful to a person with mental health issues and their well-being. As well as improve their mental and emotional health by taking care of
themselves. A person mental and emotional health can be shaped by their experiences. From early childhood experiences to genetic and biological factors. Here are three risk factors that can compromise your mental and emotional health. Learned helplessness: learned helplessness can be a negative experience that may have led to someone telling you that you’re helpless and make you feel you have no control over the situation in your life. Poor connections to primary care taker early in life: may feel lonely, isolated, and unsafe. Confused or may have been abused as an infant or a child. Substance abuse: alcohol and drug abuse can both cause mental health problems and make mental and emotional problems worse. Whatever biological or experience you may have experience or have shaped your mental and emotional health, it is never to late to make some changes that will improve your well-being. Along with these three and other risk factors can be eliminated by using protective factors, like a strong relationship with a friend, family member or significant other.
