This letter is to notify you about a problem I had at the Atlantic Parking Garage located at The Veridian in Silver Spring, Maryland on April 27, 2018. I am completely dissatisfied with the parking attendant working the evening shift at this location. Around 9:00 pm, I was leaving the parking garage to attend a prior obligation. Previously, I have had no problems entering and leaving the facility by way of a parking attendant letting me out using their key card. This particular evening, the parking attendant was overly confrontational and aggressive which made me feel incredibly unsafe in that environment. When I could not locate the requested documentation in my car, the attendant proceeded to verbally assault me for approximately 20 minutes and refused to let me out of the parking garage, essentially holding me hostage. Additionally, the attendant accused me of lying when I told him that another parking attendant let me into the garage previously, saying that the key cards do not work for entering the garage. This directly contradicts what I was told as a resident of The Veridian upon moving in: residents with temporary parking permits are told to ask parking attendants for entry and exit …show more content…
I told the attendant multiple times that I would agree to rectify any problems at a later date (as I’m a resident of the Veridian and could return to discuss this situation at any other time), but that I needed to leave the building immediately because I had a prior time sensitive obligation. He refused my request to let me leave multiple times, only letting up when I agreed to pay an arbitrary amount that he decided on, as he did not know how long my car was in the garage for since I was not required to get an entry

Parking on Campus is a Pain New students entering Concordia College are not permitted to have a car on campus. With each new freshman class entering every year, parking represents an issue. Concordia is as of now constrained in its parking on campus and since first year students are not permitted to have cars, the students are confronted with the problem of having no place to park or parking very a long way from their goal. There are parking issues everywhere throughout the campus, making backups in residence hall and other lots, bringing about students parking illegally to avoid from walking far distances, which can be very aggravating in the bitter cold. Parking nearer appears like the reasonable thing to do, however it is a hazard, which
During my six hour shift at Goodwill, a rather rude customer approached me. Some merchandise she had given to one of my co-workers to re-price
The 2700 block of Foothill Blvd is an east-west two-lane roadway with a marked left turn lane and a marked lane for vehicles to parallel park. The 2800 block of Foothill is a “T” intersection with 28th Ave in a southbound direction. On 26 Jun 16, it was a sunny and windy day. There were vehicles parked on the north and south of Foothill Blvd in
I blocked in the vehicle in order to prevent the driver from leaving the area pending further investigation.
The vehicle has been out of service for three weeks and for three weeks the Haskells’ have attempted to call your offices and have the car repaired.
Hi I'm Jackson Cates, and this summer my brother and I are looking to mow lawns in order to fund our trip with the Legacy band to Ireland. I'm going to be a senior the upcoming year while my brother is going to be a freshmen. I've also mowed other neighbor's lawns and it taught me an abundance of valuable skills and would like to learn even more while teaching my younger brother.
The common statement, “The customer is always right” is entirely wrong and this interpersonal situation is a perfect example of that (Kim, 2014). Bre is a customer service representative for a gym facility and is faced with an angry and rude customer and no matter what Bre said, it was not going to make things better for Emily. Emily made it obvious that she was angry by interrupting Bre while she was talking, cursing, clenched shut month when she was not speaking and for assuming that it is the establishments duty to call her and inform her about her account and expired credit card (Richmond, McCroskey, & Hickson,
Parking legally by the residence halls is almost impossible. Students who live at particular dorms find themselves faced with the problem of having to park on the other side of campus. Students who live in the valleys comment that they are surprised with the numerous tickets that are written every day and how it isn’t always clearly spelled out where they can park. They complain on how some parking spaces involve lengthy walks in the freezing cold weather, and how easily the lots fill up. Whenever I'm riding with someone and they have to park by my hall or any other, they usually park in the 30 min parking and leave their car there for hours, or in the faculty lots to avoid walking from the lot up the hill. These actio...
As I do not own a car I relied on public transport to arrive at the office. The building was about 300 metres away from the tram station. Due to the close proximity of public transport, clients who do not have access to their own personal vehicle can still visit the office with ease. For clients that do have access to their own cars there were also a number of parking options around the agency. These options included parallel street parking, the car park behind the agency or the undercover parking in the building next door.
...e irate I told him that this wasn’t fair and that I had been waiting a long time. What I didn’t expect next with a blatant racial attack – he called me demeaning name and said that people like me were meant to wait. Needless to say that I was infuriated and responded by saying that this was inexcusable and that I would complain to his supervisor, to which he gave me a little push, suggesting that I should go right ahead. At that point I had had just about enough and so got into a physical fight with him. Thankfully the security personnel who then asked me what the matter separated us. I explained to them in no uncertain terms what had transpired and the management responded by firing him right there and then. I felt elated and yet saddened that there are people who still think like that even today. What will happen next in my life, I can’t say. Only time will tell.
Finding and paying for a parking space can quickly increase your blood pressure, particularly when you’re worried that you might be late to an appointment. At Family First Dentistry, parking is free and abundant. When you walk in the door of the family dentistry practice, the first things you’ll
Parking by the dormitories is almost impossible. Students who live at particular dorms find themselves faced with the problem of having to park on the other side of campus. Those who live in Brown Hall, which is behind the Thompson center, have the most parking problems on campus. This is because the Thompson center is a very large building housing various departments on campus. Therefore it receives a lot of traffic all day. Visitors to the campus are taking over the parking lots around the Thompson center, which is forcing students to park other places on campus and some students chose to disregard the signs posted for reserved parking.
It is hard to find parking on campus, especially during rush hours. Both students and professors are encountering trouble for this crisis. As a simple example, the parking lot next to the Sarkeys building is always full. This problem is a continuous, daily hazard. As a student required to maintain a lot of class schedules and activities, I suffer from the parking problem daily and find that others encounter the same. It is true that the university is working on a new parking garage, but during the construction process, there is no alternative way to settle the crisis. The official home page of OU parking and transportation services is a source to consider for exploring the problem.
