1. Paranormal Psychology or Parapsychology is a field in psychology which deals with the study of human experiences that appear to be outside around of current scientific understanding. They can cover cases from Extrasensory Perception (ESP) like telepathy, clairvoyance or remote viewing, precognition, PK or psychokinesis, and survival studies. Parapsychology can be studied from a variety of different fields now. And can be related to psychology, sociology, or even physics.

An example of this is spoon bending.
Survival studies – this are cases of conscious survival outside of the human body, near death experiences, apparitions and hauntings.
I would love to have a telepathic power. There was a Korean drama that I watched before where a boy had a telepathic power. His power helped him to catch the culprit for his father’s death and he was able to get his dream job. Having telepathic powers will help me in understanding and communicating with other people better. I have always wanted to be more careful with my words so having this power will help me interpret and manipulate people’s thoughts. And I wonder if I will be able to replicate other people’s knowledge.
3. Yes, I do believe in paranormal activities such as Ouija board, ghost hunting, exorcism, etc.
Back then, in grade 4, every after class I have a tutor. During my break time, I saw this group of students which are in the same grade as mine during that time, doing “spirit of the coin” in an empty classroom. After a while, I heard a ruckus from the classroom where they are in. One of the students got possessed and I know for sure that it wasn’t a
The Haunting of Hill House is a gothic horror novel written by Shirley Jackson. Supernatural occurrences take place within the house revolving around Eleanor. Eleanor is a thirty-two-year-old woman who never once has felt the sense of inclusion. Eleanor seems to never recall the feeling of delight in her adult years due to the fact that she was a caretaker for her now deceased Mother; who took away most of her freedom by being incredibly restrictive. Dr. Montague, a doctor that specializes in analysis of the supernatural rents Hill House, a supposedly haunted house. During the renting period, Dr. Montague begins an experiment inviting individuals who have had involvement in abnormal events

Everyone has a slightly different interpretation of the supernatural but the interpretation which we can start with is Shakespeare’s. Everyone of Shakespeare’s time found the supernatural fascinating. Shakespeare interpreted the supernatural as witches, magic, unnatural and evil and he expressed his beliefs in the play, “Macbeth” very clearly, as he portrayed the three deformed women with control over the weather and the ability to predict the future. These three evil witches with magical powers were the creation of Shakespeare’s interpretation of the supernatural. Shakespeare’s contemporaries believed in the supernatural very strongly and a majority of them were frightened of it, including the king of that time, King James I of England.
Given the title of this work, you may mistakenly believe (as did at least one prior owner of the book copy I had read from, if their annotations are any indication) that this is a literal investigation into all things paranormal and society’s investment of that which goes bump in the night. In “Ghostly Matters: Hauntings and the Sociological Imagination”, Avery F. Gordon offers academics and ethnographers – those whose profession it is to unearth the secreted relationships between the signifier and the signified, the subject and object, the real and unreal - a disturbing ghost story that should leave those of us in the field who came claim these titles with both the deepest of darkest chills and, through a new method of revealing and acknowledging the ghosts we feel, the hope for something akin to redemption. (In this way, perhaps, Gordon accomplishes many of the same feats as Stephen King and Edgar Allen Poe).
There are many theories as to how someone or something becomes a ghost. This is called Paranormal which means beyond normal and scientific name is parapsychology, which means study of interactions between living organisms and their external environment that seem to transcend the known physical laws of nature (Britannica, 147). In 1920, Dr. William McDougall was the first scientific psychical who research about Paranormal Activity (Stefanik, 2000). According to Stefanik, Paranormal experiences often seem weird, uncanny, or unnatural. Typically they are quite rare but there are a few exceptional "stars" such as who have regular paranormal experiences and may show seemingly consistent paranormal ability (Daniel, 2004). Different types of scientists who researched about paranormal activity was spiritualists. The scientists accepted paranormal to be real. There are believers and nonbelievers about the paranormal phenomenon. Discussion about parapsychological phenomena has assumed emotional overtones, unsuitable to scientific discipline, and outspoken but contradictory opinions are still voiced (Cauz, 2010, p.147)

The Nelly Butler hauntings is referred to as the first recorded ghost story in American history (LiBrizzi 5), and possibly the most exciting hauntings to date as there are still many unsolved mysteries. The apparition appeared on more than 30 separate occasions to over 100 witnesses in Sullivan, Maine, just over fifteen years after the American Revolution (5-6). Although the Nelly Butler apparition is one of the most convincing ghosts of all time, it was subject to suspicions of fraud. These claims turn out to be groundless as the evidence reveals the ghost to be genuine.
In other words supernatural apparitions come as a result of either hallucination and depression or an evil deed.
Have you ever heard of a ghost? Have you ever heard of a poltergeist? Well if you have you might know about the great amherst mystery. The Great Amherst Mystery was about a woman who goes my the name of Either Cox. She just moved into her new home and immediately was haunted by a poltergeist. This is one of the most witnessed paranormal event recorded.
As long as one can remember, paranormal beliefs have always existed in human society. They are living in every man’s childhood and in every corner of human’s life. From the burning belief about Santa Claus’s gifts under a Christmas’s tree in the morning to a scary game about Bloody Mary and her coming back from the dead, it seems that people cannot help but draw themselves to these stories. Even when these beliefs fade, there would be a new one that eventually shows up. No matter how much science has progressed, the belief in paranormal phenomena still remains in society. Eventually, the question about paranormal phenomena seems pale in comparison to the human’s undying belief about such things. It is really hard to pinpoint an exact cause for human’s belief in the paranormal for only one cause is not enough; however, it is sure that psychological, sociological, and biological factors play an enormous role that contributes to this belief.
One part of ESP is telepathy. Telepathy is basically mind reading, or a direct connection between two minds in, and also direct communication between two minds (Carroll, Robert T. 1994-2010). This basically means if you have the ability to use telepathy you can look into someone’s mind and know what they are thinking and possibly be able to transmit your thoughts into their minds. You also have clairvoyance which is also called remote viewing and is the ability to see things beyond the ability of natural vision (Carroll, Robert T., 1994-2010). So, with this ability one would be able too not only predict the future but also be able to tell one what has happened in the past in vivid detail. This ability is also known as a psychic ability and one ...

Although rare, people have also had precognitive experiences that happen long before the event actually takes place. The recurrent factors in precognitive experiences appear to be some sort of severe emotional shock or trauma, as well as attachment. Most incidents include miserable and gloomy events that will occur in one’s life. Examples of such occurrences comprise affliction, death, and natural disasters. Close loved ones, such as a spouse, children, or personal friend, are typically involved in the terrifying and horrifying events that are recalled during precognitive
