Pablo Escobar played by Wagner Moura in the Netflix original hit show, Narcos, is the best villain because of how well he portrayed the real Pablo Escobar and what he stood for. He is ruthless, cool headed, resourceful, charismatic, and determined to change the Colombian government. In this TV series, the story of a man named Pablo Escobar is trying to run the Medellin drug cartel in Colombia as he is hunted down by the Colombian government, American military, DEA, CIA, and special forces. DEA agent Steve Murphy does all he can to try to take down the biggest cocaine empire in Colombia. Wrong again. Well Steve Murphy is just as determined as Pablo; he just has different reasoning behind his determination. Steve Murphy is determined to catch Pablo, which is not happening for a good decade or two. But he is so determined to catch Pablo that he tries to negotiate and come up with an agreement with traitors, crime lords, and anyone who would listen to him and didn’t try to kill or kidnap him. You know how most heroes are the good guys and don’t get obsessed over something? Well I hate to tell you this but this guy is not that kind of hero. Steve, seriously, he gets so obsessed over Pablo that he and his partner Pena, get suspended for taking their power too far. Even if the world was to be blown up if he didn’t give up trying to get him, this guy would blow up the world. Goodbye Earth. He does feel so bad for anyone involved with this empire that didn’t want to be. A great instance of this would be that Pablo’s men had gone to a house to eliminate some witnesses but the mercenaries were found there, got chased away, and the agents went back to the house.
