The past two years has been a crazy roller-coaster ride for me. To have seen and been to places that I can only dream of. I should be kissing the ground with every last step that I took to cherish memories, and moments like these.Every school year I listen to teachers telling students "Where do you see yourself 10 years from now or the near future " and the first answer that would pop out blasting through my mind communicating with the pen in my hand to write down on the paper staring back at me is " In the future I see myself in stage-lights shinning right back at me. I see myself as a graduate student in nursing and a succesful singer. " Some say " Jenny you're only dreaming, wake up ! and stop wishing." I say " What makes a achiever if she is not a dreamer. " It's too bad for the ones who doubted me because I never thought in a day of my life I would ever have a chance to audition for televised talent shows such as American Idol and X-factor or being honored to sing the national anthem for games and the best of all the African-American museum, and making the #1 spot on the school's talent show call-back list and running up 3rd place. It's a delightful feeling to prove people wrong, but also an exciting feeling when you have the oppurtunityto share your exeprience with others. This is why I chose to do my senior graduation project on Musical Arts.To not only show my creativity and talent in singing but to one day pursuit a career in the music industry. My graduation project was such a wonderful experience for me. I have got the chance to learn more about musical arts while enjoying something that I love to do;singing.I had such a adventure auditioning for "The X-factor, school show, and singi... ... middle of paper ... ...aches.My graduation project related to my career interest because it has opened my mind-set to view and see just a taste of what the Musical Arts world is like, and with everything I learned I can one day be able to sing to patients or make up a singing lesson class for the mentally ill to calm their mind down to an appeasing nature. As the days go by the bell of graduation rings, Therefor I am happy I had the time to share with you the amazing exeprience I had my sophomore to senior year in high school, and I do one day hope to achieve great success in the Musical Arts world and maybe one day be proud to come back as a speaker in Reading High just to say "look what you can achieve guys" just look at what you can do if you set your mind to it, you can be anything you want to be and never lose hope, never give up,cherish every moment while you still have time and can.
what I wanted to become. So after graduation I decided to explore my options at
Wow, three years have passed and the last day is just as long as the first. Three years of hard discipline and learning to get used to homework every night. Three years of standing on the front steps waiting for my parents and saying goodbye to my teachers. I never thought the goodbye might be permanent. 6th grade came and I was looking up at those giant 8th graders, and now I guess I’m one of them. 6th grade, and I was saying hello, and now 8th grade has come and it’s gone from introductions to goodbyes as my last days as a middle school student wind down.
Music majors do have some respite from the demands of our discipline. For voice majors, there is choir. Choir provides an opportunity to learn in a more passive manner. The choir director leads the members of the choir toward the desired goal – the mastery of the piece of music to be performed. While choir members must be attentive and receptive, the burden is primarily carried by the director.
In order to help spark that passion inside of others I must accomplish my first goal of obtaining my bachelor 's degree in music education and gaining my teaching endorsement for K-12. I intend on accomplishing this goal by attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha starting the fall semester of 2016. After attending UNO for 4 to 5 years I will begin my search for a high school instrumental music employment opportunity. Once I am employed I will be able to begin fueling the fire of passion in some students.
Becoming a music producer can mean discovering and helping make the careers of artists. However, it takes time, effort, training and contacts. That's because a music producer has plenty of responsibilities during an album's production, both on the creative and the business looks sides. The producer supervises all aspects of the recording process, from helping to select songs to contracting with session players and deciding the sound of the song, selecting the studio and engineers, booking studio time and overseeing the recording budget.
Furthermore, I think that I'm quite quick-witted - I often come up with an answer like that and moreover, I do not just sit down and take things (especially those that bother me) like that. Unfortunately, that's not always favorable - sometimes I have the feeling that people get a wrong impression of me - the impression that I always have to have the last word.
First of all, I'd like to welcome all the parents, relatives and friends, on behalf of the senior class. It has been a long, hard road to graduation and I know your presence here is greatly appreciated. My job as salutatorian is to reminisce on our past here at County High, a past that reads like a script of a soap opera.
Today, as we graduate, with degree nearly in hand, I challenge each of you to make a difference in whatever you do. Remember that life didn't end when we re-entered school. Life continued throughout our program. Even when stretched to the limit, life only got more challenging. And now, graduating, life only changes pace. Our degree completion is not really an ending as much as a new beginning as we re-enter our lives of work and home. We thank all of our family, friends, instructors and co-workers who helped see us through this process. Thank you for this opportunity and good luck to you all.
Good evening parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and friends. I would like to thank you all for coming to this very special day. I know how proud you must be. As we have grown over the years, there are many stages we all have gone through. From learning our shapes and colors, to getting our first kiss in middle school, or how about explaining to our parents why we skipped school because the principal called home. As we remember these days, things that we've done will be with us forever. But this is only the start of our journey. The day has come where we say goodbye to the big yellow buses, assemblies, assigned seating, and attendance policies. Are you really gonna miss it? For some of us maybe not right away. But eventually we will so for us to be here it is not necessarily an achievement, but a privilege. All of us have been in school over half our lives. To graduate is one more step we've taken in our lives.
to give my best, to enjoy my education and the teachers that are here to help me,
So think about it, do you have a dream? It does not matter how big or how small. Whether it is as small as getting an A on the test in your next period or becoming a doctor it is still your dream. Your dream is obtainable. As Brian Littrell once said, “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” Keep that sound track on the side of you so it will help you get through huge obstacles in life. So Remember chase your dream and give it all you got because I know I
Everything for a year had been leading up to this point and here I was in the middle of the happiest place on earth in tears because my friends had abandoned me in the middle of Disney on the senior trip.
One of dream, is to enter the engineering field someday, because I for my love of subject that include math, Science, and Technology. Since a little kid, I've always been fascinated by, and driven to understand, the way things work by breaking them apart. I believe high school would get me ready to pursue engineering as my career by taking the right courses, finding the right fit, and having more experience. Having a dream is the first step of
It was in the beginning of 2010. I graduated to tenth grade, the senior year of the school. My emotions were driven by both anxiety and exultation. Since the final score in the tenth grade was a yardstick of our knowledge-gained and hard-work done throughout our schooling, all of us were concerned. However, the feeling of freedom after the tenth grade kept us elated. Those memories are quite vivid in my memory.
Then, I heard everyone scream “Surprise!” I could not believe my eyes. There was decoration all over the living room, a cake on the table, music and a big bouquet of pink flowers. My eyes start tearing. I was delighted and humbled by how lucky I was to have such an amazing family. I ran up to my parents, my three brothers, and sisters in law and hugged all of them. We started singing and dancing I cannot forget those moments of my life. Then I realized time was running and that I still had to go to my cousin’s house to do my makeup. I rushed to her house leaving my family at home, so they could get ready, and we could later celebrate after the graduation. As, Sandra was putting on my makeup; I was thinking of how I was going to react when they called my name on the stage. I was smiling as I was thinking of the moment of my
