Carpe Diem: The Golden Chance
Carpe Diem, is the expression that means seize the day, means that one should take advantage of every minute of this life. Many people do not succeed because they are scared about life. It is very difficult to accomplish anything in this life if they do not risk themselves or do not do anything to get what they want. One should enjoy this life in a responsible way. My particular carpe diem philosophy is do the right thing at the right moment.
My parents have taught me that without effort there is no reward, and that the duties are due before distraction. The logical order, is not put the cart before the horse. It does not mean that one is wasting his or her life because he or she is studying like crazy and during six years the only thing that he or she is doing is memorizing information. The reward will come sooner or later when one gets a marvelous job and is earning money like crazy.
Now I am living and experiencing my own carpe diem philosophy. Now I am experiencing my golden chance of having a great education, and I have to make good use of the experience. The opportunity to come United States to study is very limited for Spanish students. It is limited because even when the country is not a third world country, Spain is a country not very rich, and for a person like my it would be not very intelligent to reject this great chance. Here I am trying to learn as much as possible about American life style, culture, language and people. My chance was supposed to expire in one year but now I have the opportunity to not only finish high school in United States, but also continue my college years here.
My Carpe Diem tells me that I can not waste my time, because I have already lost too much precious time in my life. I have to be resolute to succeed, to give my best, to enjoy my education and the teachers that are here to help me, and to give my best. Carpe Diem tells me that working hard , having the own ideas, fighting for my ideals, and by opening my mind to the work of others, and the ideas and ideals of other people I am taking advantage of my golden chance.
Another reason I seize my days here is because I feel that my parents are putting so much effort and money in my education, it would not be fair to them

...Even though during the height of life we may be able to do whatever we want, eventually we will have to follow the rules, so we should make the most of it while we still can. Because it uses the threat of death to urge the addressee to hurry up and live life to the fullest, especially through love, e. e. cummings' "since feeling is first" is essentially a carpe diem poem.

To earn a diploma and to be at 3rd place at least, of 60 students. I knew it was going to be hard because a teacher hated me and always would put hard stuff to me but I didn 't care I still did my best. I cried at night because of the bad times he made me pass. Because I missed my dad, I missed United states. but still at the end I earned my diploma and I got 3rd place. I was so happy for myself because of all I have passed and problems, I earned everything I wanted with hard work. It was sad because my dad hasn 't been in any of my graduations i 've had and neither will he be on the upcoming one. None of my both parents will be here.
School is something that affects a child in many ways. It's what determines how and what a child will do in the future, this is why I don't like to take school lightly. My main goal right now is to graduate with a relatively high GPA, go to a good, affordable University, and become an Aerospace Engineer.
Carpe Diem is a way of living, it may sound a bit risky for many people while others believe it is better to live their lives as fully as possible. Sometimes I wonder, can I live my life as if tomorrow does not exist? However, something deep inside of me is afraid. There are days that I wake up with Carpe Diem in my mind and believe life is meaningless without the craziness. We have to dare and challenge ourselves because otherwise life becomes monotonous, but then again, there are days that I believe I have to be more judicious with my actions. As Marilyn Monroe once said, “Fear is stupid. So are regrets.” Despite of having several points in its favor, Carpe Diem also has many cons. It all depends on what you want to do and if what you are
Education is a very important aspect of our lives. It is our education that makes us who we are and determines what we become. Therefore, education is not something to be taken lightly. As a teacher, my goal will be to provide the best possible education for my students. Every student is unique. I must see students for who they are individually and respect their ideas and opinions. Each student has a different learning style. I must take this into consideration because I want to provide a constructive learning opportunity for every student. I believe that every student has the potential to learn.

My philosophy on education and learning is simple; to teach my future students to the best of my ability to achieve academic success. As well as getting to know my students well. Getting to know a little of their background can help make a difference in our teaching career. As a teacher, we care for our student’s educational needs and to achieve a full potential in their learning ability. I believe that education is an individual, unique experience for every student who enters a classroom. Having a passion for teaching and providing students with a proper education should always be a teacher’s top priority.
