Abstract
This paper will analyze and focus on the systematic problems or issues encountered by one individual. Older people are being looked at as a problem in the United States. Older people face many problems and are considered a nuisance is a big problem they face. To further understand the individual there will be a summary of the individual that is being covered. It will include a background narrative to give a better perspective of the individual and where that person may stand. The following sections will be discussed: biological, psychological, social, and cultural development.
Introduction
For some time now, instead of being commended for their accomplishment of living for a long time. Older people are now being looked at as a problem in the United States. Not only do older people face problems of being close to death but they also deal with physical and emotional illnesses, possible poverty, malnutrition, barely to any access to transportation, they are looked down on in status, elder abuse, and possible inadequate housing. (Zastrow, Kirst-Ashman, p 717)
How the older population is dealt with, differs in the different societies. In some, the old and sickly are abandoned; they are viewed as a hindrance. In these types of societies, the people look at their resources. …show more content…

This is the process of bodily changes that comes with aging. In this process the appearance, senses, teeth, voice, skin, psychomotor skills, skin, heights and joints, homeostasis, etc. change throughout aging. Z.G showed a picture of herself when she was about my age. She seemed taller in the photo than in person. Her face, wrinkle-free and thinner than she currently was.
