When talking about the comparison of Arkansas salary range with other states there really isn’t a comparison .there is a comparison because an obstetrician in Arkansas makes 188,000 a year. 188,000 isn’t the amount of money and average obstetrician would make .the highest salary range start in Oklahoma, which is 249,960 per year. The lowest salary ranges can be up to 200,000. Depending on what state sometimes it can be 180,000. The population of a ob/gyn has increased 8% since 2000. The decline rate of growth is of almost 32%. The overall job outlook is positive. average. After high school you will need quite a bit education to become an obstetrician. First start out with getting a Bachelor of Science degree .complete 4 years of medical school and then a year of internship before entering residency graduate education in obstetrics, which usually takes about 4-6 years. Before entering medical school, you should volunteer in a hospital, nursing home or community center. A college / university I found that offers training or a degree in this career is Ohio state university which has a 53,715 student population and is a 4 year, public university .when I calculates the cost of attending there for a year it equaled 45,261. After doing all of my research I am very still interested in my career maybe even a little bit more. I’m still interested because the task and responsibilities of a obstetrician still interest me in many ways. Even though it would take about 8 years or more I know I can do it. I’m also still interested because an obstetrician is a very important person and just to think that you could be one it just makes it more unrealistic at times.

Many years ago there was a small boy who was woken by a loud scream. Terrified, he ran from his room to find his mother unconscious on the floor. His little sister was screaming as he pulled his mom onto her back in desperation. In reality, he didn’t know what to do to save her and his helplessness was due to his lack of knowledge. She passed away that night. That boy was me. Our past defines us no matter how we protest; it can either pull you down into failure or lift you up towards success. From then on, I was drawn to medical sciences and used that helplessness to motivate my education.

An obstetrician is a physician who has profitably finished specialized education and training in the handling of labor, pregnancy, and the time period right after childbirth. A gynecologist is a doctor who specializes in the well being of the female reproductive system, which encompasses the examination and the approach of diseases and disorders. Desiring a career in the medical field, I am currently studying to be a Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse or OB/GYN nurse. OB/GYN nurses specialize in the health care of women. The focus is mainly on helping women through pregnancies, labor, childbirth, and postpartum care; they provide care for women throughout every stage of their life("Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse (OB GYN)"). The care provided by an OB/GYN nurse is critically important during the fickle months of a pregnancy. The nurse also provides support to the soon-to-be-moms as they may have a wide array of physical and emotional change throughout the duration
A neonatologist has many tasks and responsibilities before, during, and after the birth of an at-risk newborn. If there is reason to believe there are going to be complications with a birth that would cause negative side effects for the infant, a neonatologist will be brought in to help. In these high-risk situations, a team effort is required and the neonatologist takes the lead position. The neonatologist will be responsible for advising the parents on what to expect during and after labor. After the infant is born, the neonatologist has to find a method to properly care for the baby. Because most premature babies have a low birth-weight, their lungs need to be supported and they need to be kept warm. During this whole process, the neonatologist interacts with the parents to keep them updated on their baby’s condition (Weaver, 2009).
An ob-gyn is what you probably refer to as just delivering babies but it’s a lot more then that. An obstetrician has to do with giving patients medicine, making sure a patient and the baby are healthy for a long nine months, being the one their for the delivery process, etc. To be an obstetrician/ gynecology, you have to go to school for quite some years but not just that also training classes. When in college learning to be an ob-gyn, you get to experience a lot of hands on things which is always fun! Last but not least before I begin to explain lots of things about an ob-gyn is that being an obstetrician takes a lot of work and effort but it entertains me more than any other career.
the female reproductive system, including the treatments of disorders and diseases. Generally, the training for both an obstetrician and a gynecologist occur at the same time. This is how the term OB/GYN came to be. An OB/GYN is a physician who specializes in both pregnancy and female reproductive care. The medical care that is provided by an OB/GYN can range from anual pap smears to prenatal care. An OB/GYN can also specialize in a particular area of medicine such as urinary tract disorders, infertility, and preventitive health, to name a few(Women's Health Channel). Typically, the personality traits that are benificial to an OB/GYN are patientce, intelligence, compassion, and the ability to communicate well with people. These will help to make the patients feel at ease with their doctor and establish a trusting relationship if they feel that their doctor sinceraly cares about their health and well being. The number of hours that an OB/GYN may vary each week, hence this is not a standard, Monday through Friday, nine to five job. OB/GYNs, who are in practice, can be expected to work as little as fifty hour...
An obstetrician is one thing, and a gynecologist is another. The job is combined together, but the two branches can be worked separately. An obstetrician is a physician who focuses and is trained in the management of pregnancy, labor, and pueperium (the period following childbirth). A physician who has specialized and trained in the health of the female reproductive system is a gynecologist. The reason the jobs are combined is because they’re both all about women. Obstetricians and Gynecologists are physicians who provide general medical care to women. They equip medical care associated with pregnancy or childbirth, and they diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases, especially those affecting the female
The career i chose is a branch of the medical field. I chose a career in nursing, more specifically the career path of a registered nurse. This career consists of providing care for people of all ages and helping them with managing their conditions. I chose this career because my mother is an rn and my family has a strong presence in the medical field. It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills, or talents needed, salary, benefits offered, and the duties for a particular career when making this decision.
Care of others has always appealed to me, a quality essential for those within the midwifery profession. Being present with a family member during her caesarean solidified my decision to become a midwife. The support that the midwives provided at this stage showed that to become successful you must possess skills such as versatility, patience, and compassion all of which I have encompassed.
The word ‘midwife’ means ‘with woman’ ,Midwives are experts in normal pregnancy and birth as they support a pregnant woman and their babies, their role is to prepare women for the delivery of her new born and support them before and during and after child birth and up to 28 days after the baby has been born.. Midwifes now provide services in a variety of settings in women’s homes, community health centres, local clinics, private obstetrician offices, gp surgeries and also in children centres.
