For every plan to be implemented well it is important to determine the costs of implementation such as those of employing the Renewable Energy technologies. Naomi urges people to rely on the renewable energy as per the German’s help. Klein states, “The gal becomes not to build a few gigantic green solutions, but to infinitely multiply smaller ones and to use policies- as Germanys feed in tariff for renewable energy for instance- that encourage multiplication rather than consolidation” (384). Researchers claim that the analysis of Naomi Klein’s plan seems to be too expensive to the point of making a stop to some of the activities which are in progress at the moment. The estimates of Klein’s plans seem to cost a rough amount of 100 trillion dollars.
Words are capable, and now and then the words we utilize affront individuals. The right to speak freely is very esteemed yet what happens when your opportunity gets to be destructive or rude to another person? There are such a large number of various types of individuals and diverse things that insult every individual. In this day where we are more disposed to say whatever we need, we see more offense being taken to the words that get said. It's difficult to comprehend why certain words can affront to somebody when it may not appear that approach to you. We need to ask ourselves, why do we mind what other individuals say and would it be advisable for us to censer everything that goes into general society just so individuals don't get annoyed?
Naomi Klein’s No Logo states that corporations have been championing globalization using the reasons that globalization allows U.S. consumers to benefit from cheaper products produced abroad, while developing nations benefit from the economic growth stimulated by foreign investments. The generally accepted belief is that governmental policies should be established in favor of the corporations to facilitate the trickling down of corporate profits to the end consumers and workers abroad. Klein, however, contends that globalization rarely benefit the workers in the developing countries.

In “Building the Third Wave” Laurie Ouellette addresses her stance on feminism by passing the audience a question as to “why so many young women have shunned feminism”. Ouellette states her response of feminism by giving reasons as to why young women are not supporting feminism. Ouellette states that one reason is because they do not have role models to reach out to young people. Another aspect of the feminism movement that struggled involved a lack of support from the economically disadvantaged and women of color due to the silence of the upper middle class white females. Also, Ouellette mentions that women do not like hearing about the past because they feel as if have been lied to in regards to feminism. Ouellette concludes the article by explaining that it is responsibility of generations past to fight to get more young women into the feminism movement.
Sarah Grey’s article discusses Gloria Steinem’s recent statement about women’s involvement in the political sphere. She trivialized women’s ability to make autonomous decisions by implying that they simply follow and replicate men’s decisions. By stating that “the only reason millennial women overwhelmingly support Bernie Sander for the Democratic nomination is that we want to impress men”, she fails to recognize that individual women are capable of making decisions without male influence. Sarah Grey argues that Steinem’s statement is representative of imperial feminism and thus, as white woman of privilege within our political landscape, inherently benefits from the structures of power currently in place. Gloria Steinem advocacy for reformist

In the 1970's, the increase in oil and fossil fuel prices helped wind power return as an economical alternative energy source. Governments all aroun...
The year is 2200. The world is going through a fossil fuel shortage. Oil reserves are almost completely consumed and it is becoming impossible to find new fossil fuel sources. Not prepared for this event to occur, The United States, has no alternative options. As a result of the oil shortage, the standard of living deteriorates. Heat in homes, supermarkets full of food, and transportation, all basic necessities taken for granted, will be depleted because fossil fuels are used to power almost everything. The key to the prevention of this future is renewable energy. Unfortunately the support for the use of renewable energy is weak and ineffective. Unless the US puts forth effort to research and promote the use of renewable energy to consumers, conversion from fossil fuels to renewable energy will no longer be an option.

(4) Based on this information, researchers try to utilize green energy, specifically solar energy as an alternative to fossil fuels in powering the planet. This is a step towards sustainability as they are using what’s already available (100,000 TW energy from the Sun) and trying to improve upon solar panels (make them cheaper). While the Earth’s current population require 17 TW energy on average each year, solar panels are costly. Suntech Power founder Shi Zhengrong is focusing on cutting the cost of solar by making them more efficient rather than perfecting solar panels. Moreover, Steven Chu, former U.S Secretary of Energy has increased spending on developing clean energy such as solar power, wind power and carbon capturing by US $40 billion. He wants to supply the world with such technology as other parts of the world (China, India and Western Europe) are already in the lead. (4)
In conclusion, the world’s advancement leads to a higher amount of energy used which sacrifices the environment and economy. In order to limit and stop that a numerous strategies have to be applied such as the use of solar energy, nuclear power plants, and hydroelectricity. Through these strategies countries will experience positive effects both economically and socially.
In the search for alternatives to fossil fuels, scientists and policy makers have focused on three options: nuclear power, energy from biomass; and a combination of wind, water, and solar power. Nuclear power, however, is much more costly and runs the risk of having it fall into the wrong hands where it could be turned into a weapon of mass destruction. The third option entails wind turbines, photovoltaic power plants and rooftop systems, concentrated solar thermal power plants,...
