Energy Efficiency

Energy is an essential element that humans need to conduct their daily work. The world relies on generated energy, even though nuclear power develops harmful gases that damage the Earth’s atmosphere. Without power, the ability to operate simple devices that perform essential daily task could become useless. Energy is just so vibrant today, that having a week without energy could create a conflict between people to acquire power, so they could be able, to store their food in a refrigerated and safe environment. In both articles, “Nuclear Power After Fukushima: It Is, Still, The Energy of The Future” by Rod Adams and “Pedaling Our Way to Energy Independence” by Jonathan Facelli. Both authors address the significance of providing economical and unharmful energy for the community. Although, Adam’s belief suggested vast ideas, I believe Facelli’s is best.
At first, author Rod Adams states the significance of having nuclear power plants to produce power. Adams addresses that nuclear energy is a reliable, affordable and safer source that should be invoked as a main supply of energy. He recommends the option of using uranium or thorium as the fundamental source of power. Adams justifies his idea by explaining that a small amount of uranium could be used to generate more potential energy than oil. The risk of using nuclear energy is lesser than burning fossil fuels. Moreover, using nuclear energy would make the government spent less than using fossil fuels to create power (Adams).
Finding new concepts to make additional energy, was author Jonathan Facelli main objective. He mentions that the United States is seventy percent energy independent; therefore, a thirty percent is sent to spend billions of dollars to drill in other countries an...

At last, foot pedals would be the most efficient way to produce energy for the world. Facelli's idea will diminish Earth’s pollution while decreasing obesity worldwide. If employees generate power each day at their workspace, they wouldn't be a need for exercising at the gym later. Gym memberships will become unnecessary, and electricity bills will decrease worldwide. Moreover, it is evident that it will take a couple of years to create this product, but foot paddles would be an advanced way to generate energy for the future.
