It is a great indicator of how physically active you are. My % body fat is 21.8%. To interpret this, I believe that I am right on target and agree/understand the relevance. Having my % body fat be below the average % for a woman doesn’t mean I’m underweight, it just means that I strive to eat healthy and be physically active. Exercising and eating healthy is a great way to balance your energy. I believe that your energy balance greatly affects your % body fat because if you have more energy intake than you do output, then you are going to have a higher % body fat.
