When I first went on their home page, I thought it was simple and elegant, easy to read and easy to navigate however, because this campaign has done and is still doing such a phenomenal job standing out I think their website deserves to look like that as well. As previously mentioned in my planning stage, I had chosen to assist ‘David’ to partake in a group basketball game for completion of my HNC Social Care Graded Unit project. In studying David’s support plan; I had identified his social skills needed slight improvement, with his self-motivation needing most encouragement. I believe the group sports activity we planned and performed met these objectives. Additionally, my placement supervisor has forwarded confirmation of the successful completion of this task via email to my senior lecturer.

NBA Players are Greedy How many of us would love to make $2.4 million a year? Or even better, how does $126 million over a six-year period sound? Then again, why stop there? As John Donovan, a sports analyst for Sports Illustrated and CNN points out, with the average salary of players in the NBA at $2.4 million a year, and some players with contracts well over $100 million, it's hard to see what many of them are complaining about.

I am choosing to write about the Act Against AIDS campaign. Act Against AIDS is a five year 45 million dollar communications campaign that was launched in 2009 and designed to refocus national attention on the HIV crisis in America. Act Against AIDS raises awareness about HIV and its impact on the lives of all Americans, and fights stigma by showing that persons with HIV are real people. They also feature highly specified campaigns that target high risk groups. These campaigns include Greater Then AIDS, Testing Makes Us Stronger, Lets Stop HIV Together and Take Charge. Take The Test. These are great campaigns because they use a mix of logical messages and emotional appeal to get people educated about the HIV problem in our country and do a great job of encouraging social support among people. Personalizing the stories are meant to motivate people to get tested and reduce the number of people unknowingly spreading the disease.
