My Responsibility To America Essay

Do you know what your responsibility to America is? Can you believe that some people don't know they have responsibility as a citizen. As an American citizen, you have many responsibilities. Some of the responsibilities are more complicated than others. Responsibility can be very stressful but it can also be fun under certain circumstances. What i think the main responsibilities that teenagers like me have are to keep it clean, to respect and obey the laws, participate in my community, and to learn about politics and adult obligations. The first responsibility to America that I think is most important is to keep America clean. If America is not clean then how do you expect to live a long healthy life? If the ground is covered in filth, trash, and litter then the air will be polluted. If the air is polluted you can get very sick. I have asthma and it can get really hard to breathe so if the air is clean then it would be easier. If everyone keeps up with their responsibility of keeping America clean then a lot of people would be healthier.

One time when I was hanging out with my friends, they were disrespecting the playground and that got me mad. My point for saying that is that laws are there for a reason if you disrespect them then you or someone else could get hurt also, there is just no need. One of my friends also brought vodka, so I left. Even though they make fun of me because I am, a “goody-tushu” doesn’t change my mind on anything. The laws are there for a reason, they wouldn’t have laws just for the fun of it. The world is safer with laws and would be a lot safer if people obeyed
