I have the greatest love & passion for children! I am a natural born nurturer. I started in the childcare field as a volunteer and after receiving the required training, I was hired as an assistant teacher. My job was to assist in preparing lesson plans, activities, meals, and performing cleaning duties. Over the past 2 years, I have enjoyed the one on one nature of being a nanny. I love creating lesson plans tailored specifically for each child! I am very passionate about education and I truly believe in giving children the tools that they will need in life to become brilliant, well-rounded and productive adults! I deeply enjoy playing a vital role in children’s lives. I also pride myself in having open communication and great relationships
I love to work with kids in the age group of 5 and under, as they are so innocent and curious. They interact with you and follow you as if you were one of the smartest person in the world. I believe that at this age children need a positive and enjoyable influence in their lives. I want to be that person
The main reason I would like to become a teacher is the love for little kids. I really enjoy being around children. After teaching Sunday School to children up to 8 years of age for over five years, I feel that I can relate to them and connect with them very well. I also feel that students look up to teachers, so they are a very big influence on the children's’ lives. I would love to know that I could make such a big influence on a child’s life. In my opinion teachers have an impact on the life of every student they ever have in class.
Imagine yourself to be a young child sitting in a classroom. The teacher has given instructions, and everyone is working, except you. You want to raise your hand, but are hesitant due to the fear of being laughed at. The teacher scolds you for not being on task, and for having to perhaps stay afterwards to catch up on your work. You feel ashamed and want to give up altogether. The teacher glares at you waiting for you to start your work. This example is one that I do not want to have my students experience in the classroom. I have the desire to become an Early Childhood Special Education teacher. I want to assist the child that feels lost, or does not catch on as quickly as the other children.
Early Childhood Education is defined as education and child care services that are provided to children from birth to the age of 8. During the years of early childhood education, children take part in a lot of different education settings. When people hear that you are an Education major, they cant help but ask why do you want to be a teacher? Aren’t teachers underpaid? The answer to that question is yes; being a teacher is an underpaid profession. Teachers don’t get paid enough for the things they have to do everyday with their students. Even though teachers do not get paid as well as they should, nothing is as rewarding as when you make a difference in a child’s life. During the ages of birth to 8 years old, these children look to their educators as role models. As a role model you are responsible for loving and caring for your students and teaching them new things everyday. Intentional teachers have a purpose for the decisions they make and they are able to explain that purpose to others. They have goals that are set out for their students and they want to help them reach those...
I have had several wonderful opportunities to work with children. At my school I enjoyed helping teach a young children's music class by playing songs for them, telling them about the violin, and helping them develop a love of beautiful music. I would enjoy continuing this as an adult. Last year I helped a kindergarten teacher in an underprivileged school, stapling papers and supervising children. I most enjoyed helping small groups learn the alphabet, supervising two children at a time as they tried to match the capital and lowercase letters and identify each letter.
Although I had a variety of options to choose from as my career, I was very passionate to take the path of an Early Childhood Educator. This was to not only inspire the young children that are going to be looking up to me, but to be an educator that will help guide the children to become the best they can be in the present and future. I believe with all the support I can provide my future students, they can achieve the basic knowledge required to move on towards attaining higher academic accomplishments.
I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with a team of parents, students, staff, and community members to help each child identify their strengths and needs, to find solutions, and to celebrate achievements
I want early child education because that’s what I have liked since I was a little girl. ECE is my opportunity to pursue my goals of helping children in their development and knowledge. In my family there is nobody tied to this major. My mother is taking advanced classes to be an early child educator. ECE has been a lifelong dream I don’t tell everybody, because is something I wasn’t sure if I should pursue this major.
What if I said that being a Christian with a love for missions made me a better and more
Due to an increased demannd for standards and accountability in the early childhood education field, policy makers have increasingly turned to the development of effective professional practice among early childhood educators (ECEs) as the predominant approach in securing better outcomes for children. ECEs have thus found themselves under increased pressure to develop professional practices through professional development which has been demonstrated to have a profound impact on children’s holistic development and their performance prospects in society. This essay will focus on the development of effective professional practice among ECEs. The paper will critically evaluate the importance of developing professional practice among ECEs, how it is developed and the application in ECE’s practice. The essay will highlight how professional practice and core beliefs of ECEs are shaped by factors such as professional and personal identity, beliefs and values and regulatory documents and bodies.

As a teacher I believe that the most effective way to teach children is teaching through play and example by using pictures and gestures. Children are motivated to learn when they have opportunities to make choices in an environment that are inspiring and stimulating. Children are interested from infancy and have a desire to learn from their environment and those around them. When children are encouraged to interact with their peers and adults in positive ways, they feel safe to explore their surroundings. I as teacher have the opportunity to nurture and educate my students on all levels, making sure that my students are being taught developmentally appropriate
Because of my early interest in children, I developed a strong desire to teach; consequently, I sought out jobs that allowed me varied experiences with children. My first experience was baby-sitting. Here I quickly learned that children must be told precisely what to do. For example, "Go wash your hands with soap and dry them right now." Or, "You must take your shoes off and then you may get into the bathtub." From the many baby-sitting jobs I had, I soon discovered that if I did not have a plan the day would be total chaos. As early as thirteen I became familiar with the need for structure and creativity when dealing with younger children and found myself loving every minute of it.
In this assessment I will be talking about the principles and philosophy of Frobel and Montessori, what they have in common and differences, there contributions to Siolta and my own thoughts in relation to early childhood education and their impact on the learning environment
I am so excited about one day teaching our children. My goal is to be a positive influence on a child and I cannot imagine anything more important to do with my life than helping children. A quote from Herbert Kohl sums up my feelings of becoming an educator: “I believe the impulse to teach is fundamentally altruistic and represents a desire to share what you value and to empower others. I am not talking about the job of teaching so much as the calling to teach. Most teachers I know have felt that calling at some time in their lives.” My dream is to someday soon fulfill my calling.
