When I went into middle school a lot of things have changed about me. But just a few are going to be the same forever. Some things that have changed about me are bad choices I have made. But also some are good things. The first thing that changed about me, when I entered middle school, was that I have been a bad example of God’s child. Now that I have got to middle school, a lot of my good friends cuss. My friends, have now influenced me to act like them,and do as they say. I shouldn’t do as they say. High school is meant to be the time of your life, but for most seniors just like me it can be some of the most emotional and crazy time. The things in my past make me who I am today, and the things I do now are the first footsteps into the future. I’ve learned a lot about myself in these past four years, and I still have so much learning to do. This is my high school story; the good, bad, and the ugly.
Middle school was immensely difficult time for me. I had glasses and braces and in sixth and seventh grade went through an exceedingly at a maladroit stage. I’m currently twenty-one, but I still cringe when I contemplate about some of the unpleasant incidents I suffered with other kids during those years. I was a marvelous athlete. The only time the “cool kids” would be “semi-nice” is when I was tremendously superb at basketball. In the 8th grade I transferred schools to a Christian school and began to come out of my awkward looking phase. I received contacts and extracted my braces. Throughout my life, I had always received recognition for being very agile and quick. My first day of Middle School consisted of the track and field coach attempting to persuade me to join the school’s athletics program. I had previously never been apart of an athletics team, and was willing to take advantage of the opportunity. Throughout my three years of middle school, I was the one consistent member of the school’s track and field team and had an overall successful personal record. Coaches from opposing school would praise me leaving me feeling very confident about myself.
When I was 5 years old I was an adventurous, outgoing little girl. Somehow this all changed when I reached my sixth year of age. It was as if my personality drifted far away from me, across the oceans, to somewhere I didn’t know. It all started on the first day of 1st grade. My teachers were not the type of people that I was used to having in my life. It was like a huge barrier had been put between the world I knew, and the world I was thrust into. As for my teachers, they shut me out. They put a huge clear wall between myself and them, and I ran smack into it, not knowing what was coming my way. As the years went by, the wall began to crumble. When I had started school it was hard for me because I was new and shy so I didn’t make that much friends also I had been misbehaving at school. Since I had kept on misbehaving I had to change from school to school while visiting my therapist. I visit my therapist so I could stop misbehaving at school and also to stop misbehaving at home as well. What I remember about the incident that changed my life was at a friends birthday party on a chilly autumn day. It was on a Sunday night, and my friends and I were having the time of our life slurping pho and delicious spicy noodles. Someone suggested that we should box, so we watched each other box one another for about thirty minutes. As a 14 year old boy observing others fight I enjoyed it, but as we enjoyed the fights a friend of mine suggested me to box. Because I never fought someone before in my whole life, I refused to box with them when they asked. Being a coward myself back in middle school, I never stood up for anyone or myself because of fear of getting into trouble. Like a hyena, I was always dashing away and betraying others when a threat or danger approaches me. Whenever someone got in trouble because of me I never stood up for them, and I would let them get scolded instead of me. Back to
