I have been a Christian my whole life; when the church doors were open, I was there, and I enjoyed being there; it was like home away from home. Since I was young, I always wondered what God had in store for my life. There was nothing I was amazing at, no act in which I really excelled, and there were things I enjoyed and did well, but nothing that made me special. I remember praying as an eight-year-old, asking God to show me what he had in store for my life. It was not until I was seventeen that I would find out.
On December 27, 2013 I went on my first international mission trip to Lesotho South Africa. I came back in love with Lesotho; nevertheless I never considered international missions as a vocation. In the summer of 2014, I went to summer camp and felt the call to missions; however, I muffled it down, not because I did not feel the importance in it, but because of my family. I have been homeschooled most my life, and my mother is very ill. Then in the fall of that same year I felt the call again, and I could not ignore it this time. Being called to international missions; I wanted to bring something to (1) help with people besides bringing the gospel and (2) I wanted a way to get access to more people.
