Being able to afford a Granite Crystal 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 SUV is currently an unaffordable dream I would love to make a realistic goal. I would like the jeep to be fully loaded with: heated leather seats, remote engine start, back-up camera, moon roof and much more. My grandmother once said, “You can make all your dreams come true, as long as you set your heart to it.” Although I may not be able to afford my dream car today, there is still hope in making this dream become a reality. My goal is to purchase my dream car on May 1, 2016. I feel that the selected date I have chosen is realistic in the manner that it allows me approximately five months to save for a down payment. I am also confident that the vehicle I am in today will continue to get me from point A to point B for the next five months. …show more content…
While the price does seem pricy, I can’t help but notice comments such as these to make me believe it is truly worth every penny. “Edmunds.com 's review says, “If you want a midsize SUV that does a little of everything, the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the way to go. Its well-trimmed cabin is comfortable for five, and it 's one of the few remaining utility vehicles that can handle both off-road trails and daily commutes.” With my dream closer in sight I know that there is a lot of work to be done, and a plan to be done before my very own Granite Crystal 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 SUV hits my driveway. First, I must review, automobile loans through my local banks and credit unions. Next, I shall decide how much of a down payment I plan to pay. Third, I will make any adjustments necessary to my purchase date, loan terms, and down payment plan in order to reach my
There is no doubt that automobile plays an inevitable role in the world’s history, especially in the history of America. Both Kline and Pinch and Flink are on the problem of automobile, but they certainly have various focus. In Three stages of American automobile consciousness written by Flink, it divides the auto history into three stages and mainly argues about the history or the development of automobile industry in America, which is written in a big picture. On the other hand, Kine and Pinch tend to discuss the connection between rural area and automobile, also how gender get involved in the social construction after cars are brought to the America.
...ferent jobs and different options like horsepower and inside. If you're a retailer and you are taking you buyers to look at a house you want a nice car to take them in. Not a van or a truck. If you're a construction worker you want a truck that works as hard as you do and not a van or a small truck.
LRNA needs to determine a positioning strategy for the Discovery and itself in North America to entice its two distinct target markets. LRNA is aware that it has two distinct target markets whose purchasing decisions are impacted by various drivers but also knows that factors such as quality, safety, reliability, comfort, off-road capability and aesthetics overlap. When compared with other SUVs or SUV alternatives, we believe the following differences should be highlighted to develop a distinctive niche for the Discovery and Land Rover brand in the target audience’s mind. The Discovery and Land Rover brand should be positioned as luxury car alternatives with rich histories and superb off-road capabilities designed for the crème-de-la-crème of consumers: affluent, intelligent, practical, unique, full of character, and seeking to empower themselves through adventure and exploration during their driving experiences. The Discovery and Land Rover brand should, in effect, convey the following message: you are what you drive.
They have taken America by storm. Defined as “rugged automotive vehicles similar to a station wagon but built on a light truck chassis” (Gurlanik 723), Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) have taken over the roads. The automobile industry is full of them and nearly every automaker has its own version of the vehicle. Drivers like the roominess, the comfort and the status they provide and SUVs are springing up across suburbs and cities like mushrooms (Davidson 1). Americans are in love with the luxuries involved with SUVs: the 4x4 capabilities, being able to sit higher on the road and the sense of control.
Ever since the day we were born, we as Americans have been taught to grab the bull by the horns and go for their dreams. Family, schools and the media, to name a few, have carefully programmed us to accomplish great things, to have good jobs, and most importantly, make money. In this success driven culture many people will do what ever they need to do to become wealthy and powerful. Unfortunately, the paths they take to their pot of gold can leave, us as a society, looking greedy and shameless. With its new advertisement of the Viper SRT-10, Dodge has clearly captured some of our society’s view on money; do whatever it takes to get it. It pictures an old wealthy man and his beautiful, young bride with a brand new Dodge Viper sports car sitting in the background. In our days of Anna Nicole Smith and countless other gold digging Playboy bunnies, not to mention all of the not-so-famous people doing the same thing, this ad truly fits into our time and culture. In fact, if this ad was published 30 years ago, the majority of the population would be shocked, maybe even outraged. However, seeing it today, most Americans, including myself, laugh at it because it is something we have become accustomed to. Dodge has done a great job in choosing their audience and knowing how to get their attention, by using a humorous and thought provoking picture, a well planned color scheme and a clever slogan.
When purchasing a truck, make sure that it is the right truck. Don’t get a truck that is too challenging. The price is also an important topic to be discussed. Don’t pay too much but also don’t pay too little for a truck that looks too good to be true for it most likely is (Gunnell “Chevrolet” 196).

Toronto Star January 14, 2005 present ways to approach the automotive buying process. There are many different surveys, crash reports, and rating systems comparing different companies and their vehicles. Things you should look for when reading these published articles are who conducted the study? Who paid for it? Who gains from it? Who loses? These are all things to keep eye on as some automotive companies will run their own surveys making their products seem overpowering against the competition. Some prove their products are safer then the competition where the competition has been proven time and time again to make that survey seem inaccurate.
This very affordable car also has a reputation for reliability. A reliable car is beyond doubt what a stressed out college student needs.

One of the very first things a buyer should consider when looking for a car is what kind of car he/she wants. Many different factors can affect the car buying process. For one, the buyer must consider how big of a vehicle he/she wants and safety features like airbags, seatbelts, and working brakes. Itemizing a list of accessories can also help narrow down what kind of car to buy. In addition to the car model and color choices were decisions on options packages. And having seen the "pimped out" SUVs on MTV Cribs, complete with two or three LCD screens (one in the dashboard for the driver, of course), DVD player, speakers costing more than my college education, GPS navigation systems similar to those used in the Space Shuttle, heated seats, and 20 inch chrome wheels, my eyes were wide with opportunity. After checking on financing and whittling down the alternatives to what I might really need or want, I ended up with the most basic of standard packages.
