The movie forever strong shows many different character traits. The first character trait that I saw throughout the movie was loyalty, Rick showed loyalty when he read the letter from the past player who wore his number. This is an important skill because without being loyal there is no respect. The ways in which I am going to work on being more loyal are by being more personal with people, my business with them will stay with them. The next character trait is respect. The moment that stuck out to me for respect was when Rick sat with Q and listened to this problems, the old Rick never would have taken the time to listen to Q’s problems. I can use this skill in my life by showing respect to others in order to receive that same respect. A way to work towards this is by giving people the space that they need. …show more content…
Rick showed courage when he went and told his dad that he didn’t play for his team anymore, but instead played for Highland. Courage is important to have because it allows you to experience new things and get out of you comfort zone. To work on my courage I am going to step out of my comfort zone more and try different things. Another trait that was showed was honesty. Rick showed honesty when he told his coach about the Vicodin. This is an important skill because it shows not only care for others but also care for himself. It shows that he cares enough about doing right that he wasn’t afraid to tell the coach he messed up. To get this skill in my own life I need to not just be open about the big things but about the small things as well. The last big character trait that I found in the movie was forgiveness. The moment when Rick showed forgiveness was when he forgave his dad before the finale game. This is an amazing trait to have because it will teach you not to hold onto grudges. I can work on this skill in my life by not letting the actions or words of others define the person in which they
In the novel, Black Ships Before Troy by Rosemary Sutcliff, the majority of the characters are brave, and selfless heroes, except for Paris. Character traits are the aspects of a person's behavior and attitudes that make up that person's personality. Paris is a selfish coward who expects everyone to fight his war for him.
Courageousness may seem to be measured by the people look on the outside. They look brave, heroic, and have some luck. Now, if someone looked on the inside of that person what would they see. Would they see a mentally strong person with high values in what they believe. On the opposition, the person might find out how scared, mean, and vulnerable they are. Courageousness is how little a person's values are affected when opposition and suffering happen in life. Also, doing things that they fear doing to boost their confidence and defeat their fears, this is courage. In A Separate Peace, The character Finny, who is bright and looking like he is brave all the time might seem to be the obvious candidate for being more courageous than Gene. Gene, who has little bravery an is weak. Gene though is actually the more courageous one because of his willingness to fight for his values and stand up in the face of opposition.
Proper respect for others begins by a person respecting their self. Respect is developed by expressing honor, leadership, value, and trust in a person. If everyone respects everyone someday, the world will become a seventh heaven. It is important to be respectful for safety, to abide by the law, because children are influenced by their elders’ actions, and because God says so. Motivation from peers can help a person realize there is always room to improve the level of respect a person exhibits. Respect was, is, and always will be a positive attribute for everyone to strive for in their lives.

Sex, love, depression, guilt, trust, all are topics presented in this remarkably well written and performed drama. The Flick, a 2014 Pulitzer Prize winning drama by Annie Baker, serves to provide a social commentary which will leave the audience deep in thought well after the curtain closes. Emporia State Universities Production of this masterpiece was a masterpiece in itself, from the stunningly genuine portrayal of the characters of Avery and Rose, to the realism found within the set, every aspect of the production was superb.
Throughout the book I felt connected to one character, that character was George. George and I share similar qualities and our lifestyles can relate. One major characteristic I found in George is his ability to take the initiative in whatever he is doing, therefore showing his sense of leadership qualities. This caught my eye automatically since I am the type of person to stand up and demonstrate my leadership to others. I feel that my leadership quality is very important to who I am. It defines me as being me.

My 1st character i'll be concerning is Alex rider one trait he has about him is he's a very fast thinker, as an example, he is aware of what to try to do in a very bad situation and he will react fast as an example once alex was stuck within an car and was near to be crushed he thought if he smashed the window he may get out and he did however if I were there in that situation I might freeze and completely get crushed as a result of I am afraid however he is aware of what to try to do which may be a nice talent to own.Another smart characteristic regarding him is that Alex rider is a really brave child an example within the book is he was risking his own life and alternative people's lives simply to seek out how his uncle Ian died he may have
Rod truly displayed mindfulness, curiosity, dependability, bravery, truthfulness, and supportiveness. These traits are significant to a respectable character like Rod. Charles Spurgeon said it best, “A good character is the best ... Those who loved you and were helped by you will remember you ...” Bruce Coville showed created Rod as a protagonist to show readers how integral being a good character is to personal success, strong relationships, and saving the world!
In conclusion respect is wrapped around our day to day lives. A famous philosopher once said “Respect is showing acknowledgement for some ones superiority in a certain field.” You can’t buy, demand, or force people to respect you but you can respect others in order for them to respect you. What people do not understand is that if we use common sense we would be respecting ourselves, respecting others, and respecting property all the time. Respecting yourself, others, and property might not be easy to do but it does have great rewards if you just do it.
The strengths of a characters make viewers to think about them and/or maybe try to improve these strong points in their own characteristics. Joe in “Looper” is a strong and a hard worker that does not care about other thinks a people and somehow a selfish person but as the movie goes on he starts to care about others and other thinks. At the end of the movie he is not the person he used to be in the begging of the movie, at the end he is a selfless person and figures there are other things than work to be concerned about. Also John in “Terminator 2” is a smart boy who used to dislike his mother but as the time passes he finds out his mother was right about future robots but nobody believed her including himself and then he tries to refine his relationship with his mother mother and regrets about his past misunderstanding about his mother. Also Terminator personalities changes during the movie.
She called Eddie wanting to know what to do and he advises her to take one of the pills implying that it will be clear once she is on the drug (Limitless). This shows that in the movie, taking that little clear pill instantly fixes a situation. This is a view that is shared in the American society today. If you’re looking for proof, just think about how when a child is diagnosed with a hyperactivity disorder (ADD, ADHD) the doctor often immediately prescribes adderall.
Ever After, a movie based on the classic Cinderella story, was an intriguing and enriching movie, which supports much of what we have been learning, about the Renaissance era. This visual media is an excellent tool for teaching students about this period of history, and the way of life during those times. Many connections are made to the Renaissance throughout the movie, with rich examples tied to religion, various fields of studies, and social status. Through the plot and actions of the characters, an accurate portrayal of life during the Renaissance was portrayed. As was typical during this era, the Catholic religion played a significant role in people's lives, which is clearly shown throughout this interesting movie.

The first characteristic, a positive attitude, is important because having the ability and enjoyment of working with other people in a team is a useful skill. A sincere liking and respect for other people is a wonderful asset. Being well liked will certainly help in working in teams or any other social situation. Humor and warmth are effective in order to be a good team member. A follower who focuses on positive thoughts by filtering out negative ones is on the trail of leadership. President Dwight D. Eisenhower often said, “No pessimist ever won a battle.” People who have a positive outlook on both life and specific situations tend to achieve their goals more often. The choice and determination to maintain an event-tempered disposition come what may; hence the ability to smile in the face of adversity and make things a little brighter for everyone.
