It’s fall everyone and Halloween is coming.I would like to tell you that fall is the best season of all.
After a great night of sleep we headed out to the world renown mountain of Jackson Hole. It is known for being the steepest mountain on which a ski resort is set up. It is also know for having a great view of Grand Teton, one of the highest peaks in the Rocky Mountains. We could not have asked for a better day of riding. there was a fresh 14” of snow under our boards and after a little bit of exploring we found some great out of bounds and woods riding.
Riding down Pikes Peak was one of the best adventures I have ever had, however, it was horrifying at times. Our whole vacation in Colorado was full of adventure. We rode ATVs, went white water rafting, but the best part was riding a bike down Pikes Peak. This was an exhilarating adventure I will never
Whether it’s 7a.m, 10a.m, 4:30p.m, etc. I find myself feeling tired. It could be from just waking up or from a long day, but during any of these times I find myself dragging. I could resort to coffee or any form of caffeine to wake myself up, but it is not nearly as effective as going to Crossfit. When you walk into the gym you’re surrounded by the sounds of “workout” music and weights dropping to the ground. You’re greeted by your fellow Crossfitters and you chat about the workout ahead. Strength work comes first and that’s when my first jolt of energy comes. There’s no better feeling than completing heavy lifts; the adrenaline is unexplainable. It is especially energizing when you PR a lift, receive cheers from the others at the gym and
Upon reviewing my speech, I can understand where I need to improve my speaking skills, as well as places where I just need to fine-tune them. I chose to talk about skiing because it is an activity that I look forward to every winter, and knowing I had a trip out west over break I knew I would be able to talk about this topic easily. Although I do think that I gave an effective speech, I think there were many things to learn from the overall content, organization, and delivery of the speech. The content of my speech was an area that I think was adequate for an informative speech.
Many Americans love to hike. There are many hiking trails located in the United States. One of the most well known trails is the Appalachian Trail. The Appalachian Trail, with its distinct history, requires much conservation for the safety of its many hikers.
Well, the mountains don’t scare me. I did the Pacific Crest Trail three years ago. Overtime, the trail became my home. I felt as though I was exposing myself to more risk each time I entered town, than when I was on the trail with a small group of hikers.
Mt Washington in New Hampshire is the tallest mountain in Northeastern United States at 6,288 feet it is also one of the most dangerous ones. This is a mountain that since 1849 has caused the recorded deaths of around 150 people and the weather can change in seconds going from 70 degrees and clear skies to either thunderstorms, blizzards that cover the entire summit in snow and rime ice or hail with temperatures as low as -40 degrees and winds that have been recorded at 254 mph though wind gusts that high are results of rather extreme conditions. Any hiker must plan their trip up the mountain to the absolute smallest and minute detail, reservations must be made in advance and multiple routes off the mountain must be planned in case of either medical emergencies or extreme weather and a bunch of teenagers and our fathers were going to try our best and climb it without anyone increasing that 150 number.
While most people know exercise & movement are an important part of their life, this knowledge does not always translate into action. Unfortunately, those who live sedentary lifestyles put themselves at risk of premature death. While millions of people start exercise programs each year, particularly as New Year 's resolutions, many do not continue through with the program. Roughly half of those who join a health club quit within the first six months, and only about 20 percent of Americans are meeting the daily recommended exercise levels. If you are among the other 80 percent, particularly if you rarely exercise, you might be wondering how you can start and stick with an exercise program.
Have you ever had those moments where you are feeling unmotivated or zero energy to workout? I will be the first to tell you I have had these moments. Being involved in the fitness world, I love every aspect of fitness. For the past 5 years, I was working out 5 days a week and had my ups and downs with results. I am guilty of it, I would pick up a workout magazine and try out this crazy workout and just destroy my body. Sure, I saw some results but I was becoming more and more tired throughout the day. On top of that, I was only getting 5 hours of sleep and not eating appropriately to refuel my body. I know stupid right? I am human and I am not perfect!
Every single time I go canyoneering I get a rush of adrenaline. I love climbing down the polished walls of the waterfall, it’s unbelievable. It’s so hard to describe, it’s sort of like the feeling you get when you’re on you’re on a rollercoaster it feels like theirs no gravity and you just float in midair. The feeling of gliding down the waterfall is breathtaking. Canyoneering is my passion. I’ll never stop until I have to.

Modern day riders just want jump their dirt bikes and ride fast in wide open fields. They think if they can do this, they will be considered good or even great riders. However the best riders are in the woods, racing against the clock and navigating through the toughest trails in North America and all over the world. These are “Enduro” riders. Enduro is the true backbone of motorcycle racing. It is a very challenging and diverse event because it is a race against time rather than against opponents. This is illustrated in the varying and difficult terrain and the technique it requires, the different rules it entails, and the many different motorcycles and types of equipment
