Introduction
Motorola was first founded in 1928, making battery eliminators for household radios. In 1929 the company designed and manufactured and car radios, then a new concept, and subsequent sales kept the company afloat during the Great Depression of the 30s.
During the Second World War Motorola developed the Handie-Talkie SCR536 handheld radio transmitter and receiver, and icon of that conflict, and forefather of the mobile phone. In the 1970s, together with AT&T, Motorola started developing cellular networks, and in 1980 the company released the world’s first mobile phone, the DynaTAC phone. From then on the company because a household telecommunications name.
In 2010 Motorola was split after Motorola Mobility was spun-off from the parent company, that subsequently became Motorola Solutions and Google bought the company in 2012. In 2013 Motorola released the Moto X and Moto G, making a strong comeback, with the latter becoming their best selling product ever. Finally, in January 2014, Lenovo announced it was acquiring the company.

AT&T Wireless is the leading wireless telecommunications provider in the US market. The US wireless market constitutes over 243M wireless subscribers. This represents a market penetration of 81%. The wireless market sells mobility of voice and data (video-media, download content and internet access).
In 1875 AT&T began its company, which was invented by Alexander Graham Bell. Graham had help in forming this global company from two men, Gardiner Hubbard and Thomas Sanders financially. Bell being the inventor tried and successfully invented a talking telegraph. In the few years to follow, Bell earned patents and in 1877 the three men formed the Bell Telephone Company to display the new invention, the telephone. In 1878 the first telephone exchange took place under license from Bell Telephone in New Haven, CT. Within the first three years, telephone exchanges existed only in major cities and towns in the United States and operated under the license, American Bell Telephone Company. In 1882, American Bell had interest in control with the Western Electric Company; therefore it became its manufacturing unit. Overtime, American Bell came to own most of its licensees and the enterprise became known as the Bell System. To build and operate the original long distance telephone network, the American Telephone and Telegraph Company was incorporated on March 3, 1885 and was made a fully owned subsidiary of American Bell. The AT&T network was built from New York, where it reached its initial goal of Chicago in 1892, and then San Francisco in 1915. AT&T acquired the assets of American Bell on December 30, 1899 and became the parent company of the Bell System. AT&T was able to be built out to Denver, Colorado due to the inventions of loading coils. Thanks to the first practical electrical amplifiers in 1913, AT&T made international telephony possible. Since the early 1990s, Nokia's Strategic Intent was to build distinctive competency in product innovation, rapid response, and global brand management. Its strategic intent required rapid growth in the core businesses of mobile phones and telecommunications networks. This goal was achieved by Nokia's development of new products and expansion into new markets. In order to become the global leader as it is today, the company had overcome numerous challenges and obstacles over the last decade.
In 1921 the Detroit Michigan Police Department first used mobile radio in a vehicle. Digital wireless and cellular roots started in the 1940s. In the 1940s new frequencies between 30 and 40 MHz were available. There was an increase of availability in channels which police systems were encouraged to use. Mobile units were available within private companies, individuals, and public agencies. In St. Louis, 1945 the first mobile telephone system in the US was introduced. Along the highway between New York and Boston a Public mobile system carried greater frequency distance in 1947. In 1n 1949, the FFC authorized separate radio channels to common carriers. A new system was developed with automatic channel selection in 1964. With this new system each call allowed customers to dial for themselves and it eliminated the need to push-to-talk operation. In 1975, in Chicago, AT&T was authorized to develop a cellular system. After this AT&T and Bell labs work with other cellular vendors to develop their cellular phones. Their phones were made so consumers would have the quality products available to use on cellular networks. There are many reasons why the mobile wireless has not progressed further in the last 60 years, this is because of cautiousness and federal regulation. The Federal Communications Commission controlled frequency availability. Their regulations and unresponsiveness had the most significant factors hindering radiotelephone development. The Federal Communication Commission delayed the technology in America by ten years.

Nokia started in 1865, when a mining engineer built a wood-pulp mill in southern Finland to manufacture paper. Over the next century, the company diversified into industries ranging from paper to chemicals and rubber. In the 1960s, Nokia ventured into telecommunications by developing a digital telephone exchange switch. In the 1980s, Nokia developed the first "transportable" car mobile phone and the first "handportable" one. During the early 1990s, Nokia divested all of its non-telecommunications operations to focus on its telecommunications and mobile handset businesses.
Every invention ever known to man had pioneers or people who contributed to the creation of the product. Radio had many pioneers that allowed for its creation and their names are Heinrich Hertz, Nikola Tesla, Ernst Alexander, Edwin Armstrong, Guglielmo Marconi, Lee DeForest, Frank Conrad, Reginald Fessenden, and Edward Armstrong. After that Tesla established his own lab which is where he built the tesla coil , an induction coil that is still used in radio today (Short).
