The 450 SX class allows 150-250cc two stroke motors and 249-450cc four stroke motors. The 150-250cc bikes must weigh at least 212 pounds. 251-450cc must weight at least 220 pounds.() Choosing between MotoGP and Supercross is very difficult. The two are very different in nature and in skill set, but at the end of the day it comes down to if one wants to fly around corners dragging limbs in MotoGP or slinging dirt and mud, taking jumps, and handling wicked terrain. For myself, I would have to choose MotoGP. The machines of MotoGP absolutely astound me. The riders and the skill that they possess leave me speechless.
AMA super cross has been around for a very long time. Since the early 1970s when the first race was in the super bowl and it was called super bowl motocross but then came the term and the start of supercross. In supercross these were tight cornering tracks with big jumps rhythm sections, and woops sections. The bikes that were first ever ran on these tracks were 2 stroke meaning they are high rpm bikes which of the time were the fastest bikes around of this time but there were a lot of issues with the bike which I will explain. Supercross has changed over time the bikes the tracks and the pace of the race.

It may come to a shock to you when you learn that nascars the billion dollor enterprise with 100,000 cars that are engineered to be as fast as they can be. Its hard to belive it all started from shine runners. During the great depression millions of gallons of shine were in need of distribution. This is where the ridge runners came into play. The shiners needed a way to get there shine from the stills to the stash houses…. The cops at the time had stock cars and if you could out run them then you wre free. You can only get in trouble if you are caught in the act….. the backwoods shiners started to build cars that would out run the cops. This was the beginning of nascar…..

Death, war, and HIV are very serious issues; comparing them to SUV’s causes a need for attention.

Many of the traditionalists did approve of the automobiles, but some of them just favored the old way of walking places. The traditionalists were fearful of car accidents with the upbringing of the automobile. During the 1920’s a driver’s license was not needed in most states, and there weren’t really any “rules of the road” quite yet. No signs, signals, or traffic guards, and the roads were not ready for automobiles or pedestrians yet. Some traditionalists were not for these life risking ways of automobiles, but they were accepted among most for an increase in transportation and their easy access to even those who were not rich. The modernists at this time were known to want the exciting new changes and risks, so they were all for the automobiles. Millions of people all over the United States choose motorcycles over automobiles for the thrill, speed, and high performance capabilities. On the other hand, motorcycles are not at all the safest way of transportation. Motorcycles do not provide the passenger with the outer protection that cars provide, therefore, when one crashes, the results are usually much more serious. Injuries to the head are responsible for 76% of fatalities when dealing with motorcycle crashes many of which could have been prevented had the rider been wearing a helmet. For this reason, many states have adopted the motorcycle helmet law. The law states that every passengers must wear a helmet at all times when riding on a motorcycle. This law has created a great deal of controversy. One side supports the law, believing that it protects motorcyclists from danger and saves the economy a great deal of money. The other side argues that the law is unconstitutional and it violates our right to freedom. However, statistics show overwhelming support in favor of the motorcycle helmet law. Although wearing helmets cannot prevent motorcycle crashes, they can greatly reduce the number of deaths caused by head injury as well as lowering taxes, insurance rates, and health care costs. Therefore, the helmet law should be put into effect in every state across the United States.
