Why are you interested in participating in an internship at The Museum of Modern Art? From an early stage of my life, I discovered my intuitive passion for arts. I remember myself transforming juvenile emotions, into art, while sketching, drawing, and even making my own handmade clothing. I had always been curious to experiment with colors, materials, textures, textiles always into. That curiosity led me to pursue my studies in the Architecture faculty, where I expertise in urban planning, as well as in the design of urban furniture. Soon as I entered the architecture school, I had the opportunity to follow art and history classes, which made me appreciate even more contemporary art and design. Museums are places for self-discovery where anyone can experience without any previous knowledge and come, see and feel what other human beings have created and learn from the exhibits. Works of Art reflects aspects of our own interests, personality, upbringing, culture, beliefs and values. Imagining the characteristics of the ideal museum, I strongly believe that they should at first be open to different groups of audience and to their initiatives, combining digital and material reality and aiming for the “common good” instead of the public or the private interests. Through reciprocity and collaboration, they should promote social justice and be able to attract people no matter their socio–economic
In Stephen Weil’s essay, he argues “the museum’s role has transformed from one of mastery to one of service” (Weil, 196). According to him, museums have changed their mission from one that cultures the public to one that serves

In the second part, I will analyze the layout of the gallery, “Imagining the Underground” in Earth Matters in Fowler Museum in UCLA. Several discussion related to the settings of the museum and the article will be discussed interactively. In general, this paper tries to show the robustness and the weakness of Baxandall’s model, which will specified.
When you love to do something, you want to do it every day, all the time, till you get sick of it. Even then that excitement and devotion to do it is still there. That is how I feel about art. I have a great passion for it. It is a form where I can express myself in a way words can’t.
New museology is the modernisation of museums. New museums are made to be more interactive and more interesting for the visitors. Displays in the museums are no longer covered in glass and people are encouraged to look more closely and interact with displays. The museums are brighter are the displays...
I feel like the job position of a museum curator is the right one for me because it’s focused overall proficient organization skills and a strong sense of responsibility. I have the ability to be persuasive and willing to compromise. I like the idea of having this job because it’s exciting and provides new challenges everyday. When working as a curator, someone has the opportunity to get up close and personal with historical documents, items, and works of art. Visitors and other workers simply don’t have the ability and privilege to do so.
The curators of the Met have created an immersive and incredible environment for the art within the museum. They have also designed a specific experience for the viewer which is simultaneously vast, yet relaxed, and beautiful. The Met is the perfect place not only to spend an afternoon, but to spend a lifetime, each visit providing more insight to beloved pieces that are enjoyed time and time again. The success of the Met as a museum stems from its ability to make the experience of art enjoyable. It is through these experiences that public audiences become more involved with art and more attached to the processes which produce such work.
Wherever man lives there is art, because art is anything made or done by man that affects or moves us so that we feel and see beauty. Man uses his imagination to invent a unique beauty. The artist's feelings and inspiration affects on how he will express his art.

Arche is a Greek word with essential detects "origin", "beginning" or "wellspring of activity". I am a dedicated, self-motivated and conscientious individual. I firmly believe that choosing Architecture as my field of study will fulfill my commitment to improving local environments and helping people within the community. As I look ahead to the future, I am excited to begin an education that will further advance my understanding of architecture and build upon my foundation to fully realize my potential. One day I would like to design structures that may inspire someone else, as the buildings of Hong Kong have inspired me.
In such way, the exhibition space converts to a creator of understanding rather than a plain display of series of objects. The interchange between various people contributes to the practice-based research and this informs the making process for further engagement as well. The collective engagement helps the museum to become a medium for different ideas and opinions of people from different
Museum defines as an institution housing collections of objects of artistic, historic, or scientific interest conserved and displayed for the educational and enjoyment of the public. Museums are places of memory that provides the link of distant past to the present generation which also help the society to know the path their forebears trod. The main purpose of museum is neither to educate nor entertain but rather creates a memory bank would remind us of the past. No wonder most societies in different parts of the world traced their origin through the works of arts history. A museum is “a building in which objects of historical, scientific, artistic, or cultural interest are stored and exhibited.” (dictionary.com). This is the literal definition of a museum as well as my view of them coming into my first semester of college. I believed they were boring, outdated places where historical items were displayed. As I moved through the semester, my professor helped me gain a new perspective of these remarkable museums; one of respect and astonishment. Museums are meant to aid in learning and safeguarding of things that should never be forgotten. Of the many great places I visited this semester that adjusted my feelings towards museums, the ones that had the greatest impact were The National Museum of Natural History, The Newseum, The National Gallery of Art, and The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. These places are there to remind the general public about things that should never be forgotten; they preserve the history and beauty of the world.
Despite this, museums will continue to persevere through time for the same reason that libraries have lasted, which is because they are needed. Museums are the culmination of endless information about many different topics; what’s more, they contain objects which offer visitors a direct connection with the subject it pertains to. The experience that is gained by visiting museums is unique in a way that cannot be achieved by seeing the same objects on the web. Nonetheless, museums must adapt to their changing environment. After all, “museums are public institutions” (Low 43), which means that their existence is based off of the way they are perceived by their community.
The arts have influenced my life in amazing ways. Throughout my life, art has been the place I run to and my escape from the world. As I’ve grown older, art has become so much more than that. Every piece of art I create is a journey into my soul. It’s a priceless way to deal with my emotions and my struggles. I create art not only because I enjoy it and because I want to, but because I have to. Somewhere deep inside there is a driving force, urging me to put my heart down on paper. I become emotionally attached to each of my pieces because they are like dashes on the wall marking my growth. Each one is the solution to a problem I have dealt with and overcome.
