I think Mike Pence as our vice president is a good choice. He has governed Indiana pretty well. He is dedicated to making Indiana a better place. Pence takes leadership and does what he thinks is best for our state. I think these two will work well together for many reasons.
Mike Pence has governed Indiana since 2013. Over the years he has gotten betat taking leadership and doing what is best for our state. I think that he would make a good vice president for Donald Trump. They both have certain tasks they want to complete and they go straight for them. I also think that Mike Pence might stop Trump from making bad decisions for our country. Pence is always trying to help our state get better and not worse so I think he will do the same for
This paper will be focusing on Robert Casey better known as “Bob” Casey the Senator from Pennsylvania. Casey was born and raised on April 13, 1960, in Scranton Pennsylvania. Casey; “graduated from The College of the Holy Cross in 1982 and spent the following year teaching fifth grade and coaching eighth-grade basketball in inner city Philadelphia for the Jesuit Volunteer Corps”. (Senate.gov) Later on, he received his law degree from Catholic University in 1988. He married to his wife Teresa and has 4 children. In 2002 Casey wanted to follow his father into running for governor of Pennsylvania, however, he was defeated, later becoming the “treasurer” in the elections of 2004. Casey was first elected to the senate in 2006 as a Democrat, showing as one of the second highest victories since “1920” against an incumbent Senator. Later in 2012, he was re-elected becoming the first Democrat Senator into serving a full term and into being re-elected as a Pennsylvania Senator. Casey has become and followed the step of his father who was also a governor.
A travesty occurred on this July 11, 1804. In response to Vice-President Burr’s challenge a duel took place on the grounds of Weekhawken, New Jersey, on the very spot where Mr. Hamilton’s eldest son Phillip had died. This day of reckoning has been long approaching. Each man has opposed the other during their political careers. It is supposed the duel was provoked by Burr after personal exploitation sparked by Hamilton, this along with the public humiliation of a lost election. Some dire insults can only be dispelled with an extreme display of bravery. Had Burr not defended his honor others may have considered him as a man, not possessing sufficient firmness to defend his own character, and consequently unworthy of their support. Vice-President Burr’s reasoning most certainly was centered on protecting both his political career and his goodness.
Cory Booker, senator of the United States, uses personal judgements along with pathos, ethos, logos, and various rhetorical devices to convince the audience that Hillary Clinton and Jim Kaine are the most suitable candidates from the Democratic party for presidency. During the month of July 2016, a speech by Booker was given at the Democratic National Convention in New Jersey. The speech was to inform and connect to the people of America, known as the audience, that the two candidates, Hillary and Tim, are capable in holding the position of presidency and continuing the traditions of the past.
It is obvious the Republican Party has no brains. If they elect Donald Trump to run for president, they are going to lose big time. They can blame themselves for being so stupid. The establishment runs the Republican Party. They are the ones who lose major elections. The leadership of the Republican Party shifts the blame to conservative wing of the Republican Party; however, it is the moderate wing of the Republican Party who loses elections. Does John McClain ring a bell? If the Republican Party hopes to win the presidency, they must run a conservative or face another trouncing in the next election. It is that simple. Therefore, the Republicans had better wake up fast if they want to
Earl Warren is considered a leader in American politics and law in the 20th century. Warren was the governor of California and during his time was able to secure many major reform legislations that helped modernize hospital systems, prisons, and highways. His time as governor also led to the expansion of the old-age and unemployment benefits. In 1953, he became the 14th Chief of Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. As Chief of Justice, he was able to rewrite much of the corpus of constitutional law. His most famous case as Chief of Justice was Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka. This case ruled that segregation in schools was unconstitutional since it did not give equal protection under the law to African Americans. Although the court was divided at first, his efforts were able to gain a unanimous decision. His court also sought out electoral reforms, equality in criminal justice and the defense of human rights. In 1963, Gideon v. Wainwright was a major case that sought equality in criminal justice. This case required counsel in court for defendants even if they could not afford
Al Gore will be able to handle the presidency. I will discuss Al Gore’s brief history
John Forbes Kerry is the candidate I would chose in the up in coming election. Some of the issues that would decide my vote are environment, the economy, homeland security, social issues, and Iraq. I would also vote for John Kerry because he has done good things for Massachusetts and I know he will do good things for this country. My last reason for voting for John Kerry is because he will bring our troops home safely. On November 2, 2004 I would vote for John Kerry.
Donald Trump is a highly successful business titan, real estate mogul, reality television personality, and now a 2016 presidential candidate. Since announcing his candidacy this past June, he has been very loquacious on his views pertaining to foreign policy. He takes a very realist approach when addressing these issues. His views are very much in line with the belief that the international political arena is not dominated by altruistic ideologies, but rather nation-states that are self-interested. His foreign policy platform centers on using hard power to achieve America’s goals in the Middle East and to eradicate illegal immigration.
Donald Trump has been a bad influence to the United States that doesn’t deserve to be president. The entire thing he has done during his running doesn’t show that is able to be president. Trump is an arrogant person that doesn’t deserve to be president and doesn’t deserve to be able to run a country; he is acting like a child he is not mature to run for
Trump built an Empire and will run America like a business. Trump is an experienced and tough dealmaker. Trump has led large organizations before. Not too many people look beyond his bankruptcies and the fact that he inherited large sums. However, he leads an enormous, diversified organization that is worth billions of dollars. This takes loads of Leadership, which is very different from knowledge. Leading a large organization makes you set vision, goals and expect results. You do not know the little details of every level of your organization just like the president does not know. (You mentally couldn’t know all that) That is why you delegate and empower and get information when it is needed and the president will have no shortage of people ready to educate him on issues. Trump is a negotiator. One of his most under discussed attributes, but yet one of his greatest assets. Trump’s spent his entire life and career making and negotiating deals. In his own words, he negotiates to win.
The United States of America was born on diversity and different beliefs. This is what many believe to be great about this country. Considering such a mixture of cultures, the United States needs a strong leader to bring the nation together. Since the time of our Founding Fathers, the political views of the nation has mended the course of history. In conjunction with an imagination and great aspects, our Founding Fathers created three political parties; the Democratic party the Republican party and the Liberal party. In times of great peril, the nation has turned to its leaders for guidance and direction. At the helm of these political parties, there has been a convincing and resilient candidate. Considering all aspects, the nation had an extremely
As this election 2000 is coming, each candidate is working very hard. They are doing debates, electoral campaigns all over the country in order to get more popular votes and therefore get the electoral votes they need to be the next president of the United States. In all of the inquiries that the media did in most of the states, Al Gore seems to be the favorite one, because he knows what he is doing, he has enough experience to rule our country, and he also has very interesting positions in the issues that he proposed to the American people.
As both "conservatism" and "liberalism" have had various meanings sooner or later and transversely countries, the word liberal conservatism has been used in relatively different sanity. In political science, the word is used to pass on to ideologies that merge the support of capitalism, for instance value for contracts, protection of private property and free market require reference to validate with the principle in natural discrimination, the significance of religion, and the worth of traditional integrity need reference to validate in the course of a construction of inadequate, legitimate, representative government (Abdou & Zaazou 2013). It contrasts with traditional liberalism and particularly aristocratic conservatism, rejecting the belief of correspondence as a little in discordance with human nature, instead emphasizing the thought of natural inequality (Crozier. 2012).As the conservative thought in democratic countries hold typical liberal institutions such as the rule of law, private property, market economy, and constitutional representative government, the liberal factor of liberal conservatism

The president elect must be able to deal with problems this country inherited under President Bush. There are still many issues in the United States that President Bush hasn?t given any attention to. The new president must be able to show the judgment to lead in times of crisis. He should be able to talk, negotiate and compromise whenever a conflict arises.
