Usability Testing on Microsoft Xbox ™
Product usability testing has been around for quite a while now for the sole purpose of providing the consumers with the best product a company can. Some companies hire specific testing consultants who specialize in product testing and other companies just release beta versions of their product to a small market and collect feedback. Companies like Sony or Nintendo hire companies that test their products and make sure there are no problems with the product. Software companies, on the other hand, release test versions, also known as beta versions, of their products and improve their final product based on the feedback from the beta users.
There are many products that are released to the public that are not thoroughly tested. These products get tested like any other products, but they just don’t get tweaked and changed enough to be the best that they can be. This situation can be the result of the testing company not having enough knowledge of the product or poor diversity of the test groups or target audience. An example of a product not tested enough is the Microsoft Xbox. The Xbox, a game console released on November of 2001, marked Microsoft’s official entry in the gaming industry. Immediately after the release, users stated the Xbox was rushed into production and wasn’t properly tested. However, articles titled, “CES 2001: Microsoft Discusses the Announcement” and “Xbox Product Testing Initiated,” both...

Do you or any of your friends play video games on a console? If you ask gamers the question, “gaming console you like the most?” they will probably say Xbox One or PlayStation 4. Xbox and PlayStation are known as the most popular gaming consoles of all the time. These two consoles have been competing for a very long time for the throne of the best game console since 2001 until now. In this article, we are going to find out which console has the best advertisement, We are going to determine this not by the console’s hardware, not by its cool features, and not by what exclusive games they have. It is because to grade the games and features are good or bad is kind of difficult because everyone can has different games
In the console-gaming world people know Sony and Nintendo. Microsoft may be the largest and richest software company in the world, but it’s unknown when it comes to console gaming. Microsoft is counting on the Xbox to change that perception. Gamers may not be willing to take a chance with the Microsoft Xbox, even if it is far superior to any console ever made. Nintendo Gamecube is nothing if charismatic. Nintendo’s new machine is half the size of any other console and looks like a toy with its brightly colored plastic shell and handle. It’s destined to be home of such popular games as Mario, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, and Kirby. Nintendo Gamecube seems mismatched as it goes up against the Microsoft Xbox and the Sony Playstation 2 (a multimedia mayhem that Sony says it’s supposed to be “The Future Of Entertainment”). All this makes you think; what makes Nintendo believe it can possibly go up against the ultra-sophisticated Xbox.
In this stage there are rules concerning how long the product can be marketed as new. After the initial introduction time the marketing strategy could and should change in order to have the product seen by as many potential clients as possible. Once an item is accepted word of mouth advertising can be just as helpful as the continued mass media marketing strategies already in use. There have been a number of products that when introduced to the market immediately began to be accepted. A few simple toys such as the Furbies and Tickle-me-Elmo had their moment is the spotlight when introduced prior to Christmas and for some reason flew from the shelves faster than retailers could get them. This type of acceptance into the market would be great for any product as long as the demand was constant. Like the toys, many of today’s technological gadgets are sought after and with the mention of a new upgraded version of the phone, tablet, laptop, or other electronic toy drives people to preorder and wait in line for the date of the items release to the market. This is the acceptance that every developing company would love to have. With the acceptance of their product they will be able to quickly recover the money spent on research and development and product validation. Despite being the next latest

Both Toys “R” Us and Mattel made testimonies on the incidents as well.
...ause it is more costly or goes through more steps. Often this is true but when it comes to the consumer they often want just what they pay for and not what they don't need. These new tests don't have any electronic parts, screens, or even words on them. All they have are the bare minimum of parts and materials being used to do exactly what its meant to, save lives. Simplicity also doesn't pay the people who help it along. With production costs so low and then giving them away for free to people who have no money makes it a non-profit organization which does get funding, but no one gets paid a salary. Unfortunately many people would never devote their job to something they wouldn’t get paid for but most people can’t give up their old jobs to work somewhere new. So, this boils down to being a volunteer organization which I hope grows into a world changing organization.
While the Nintendo name is most closely associated with a video game platform (the NES), the company's real focus has always been the games rather than the platform. Herein lies the true distinction between Nintendo and its two larger rivals. Nintendo seeks to make good games. Microsoft and Sony seek to control a distribution channel.

... for Xbox and therefore, Flextronics can modify their production schedule to meet those demands in the same real-time as well. The communication makes sure that the entire process is closely monitored by both sides so there is tighter coordination and efficiency to minimize inventory, avoid shortages and develop a balance between the supply and its demand.
