There are lots of real uses of mathematics in our life. All the mathematics terms base on counting. There is no concept of business without mathematics. We cannot deny the importance of mathematics in our daily life. Wherever we go (for example when we want to purchase something in the market), we need mathematics. And nowadays, technology is very important in our daily life, hence its system used mathematical rules. So we cannot deny the importance of mathematics in real life.
My topic for this mathematics report is to investigate the various applications of matrices, since people might not aware of the various applications of matrices in their daily life, while in reality they are using matrices concept whether directly or indirectly (for example in internet application, computer animation, etc.)
Matrices was discovered and developed in the 18th and 19th century, the development of matrices had to do with the transformation of geometry and solutions of linear equations. Historically the early emphasis was not on the matrix but on the determinant. Now when performing algebra, matrix is heavily considered as a factor. Matrix has its important factor in mathematics however physicists and biologists also have their fair use of matrices in terms of organizing and studying various phenomenons that occurs for example population growth.

Matrices in computer design software are how the programs relate things mathematically. Without this computational power, there would be less large structures because it would be more difficult to design them efficiently.

There are some very startling similarities in the clash of matrices portrayed by the movie The Matrix and Dawn. On the surface the two works might seem to be addressing different topics, but the books have a common theme, and when the two works are analyzed in-depth, the parallels become readily apparent. The Matrix, once being released was a world-famous film that involved a lot of thinking and the ability to interpret complex ideas. However, these two topics of fate and freewill were creatively and smartly submerged in this film. The pill, jujitsu and Oracle scene were three main examples of the effect this all had on The Matrix, however there were a few others scattered throughout the film. It remained to be quite a mysterious concept but gradually as more in-depth thoughts came to mind, it seemed to be quite interesting. One can see many similarities and differences in the film and the allegory. The most important similarity was between the film and the Allegory is the perception of reality.Another simmilarity that the movie Matrix and the Allegory of the Cave shares is that both Neo and the Freed man are prisoners to a system. The most important difference was that Neo never actually lived and experienced anything, but the freed man actually lived and experinced life.
My first opportunity to use math outside the academic world was in my part time job with United parcel Service. It was an eye-opener for me in that mathematical techniques, in combination with computers, could be used for solving very complicated real-life problems, such as predicting and controlling the continuos flow of 300 million packages per day. It turns out that in the movie people believe that they are living normal lives in the 90's as common businessmen and families as we do today, when in reality the time is later in the 21st century and people are hooked up to machines in pods where they are merely interpreting electrical signals which tells them that the they are alive in the 90's. The artificial intelligence machines put these people in these pods for their whole lives where they never use a muscle in their body; they only think that they are moving and living normal lives.The reason why the artificial intelligence machines put people into pods is because the sky is scorched and there is no source of electricity, so the A.I. units found an alternate source of energy: humans.
