Imagine having a great plan that you think will work out. Now imagine that it just failed horribly in so many ways. In “The Ransom of Red chief”, two men wanted money to pull off a fraudulent town-lot scheme in Western Illinois. To get this money, they decided that they would kidnap a child and charge two thousand dollars for his parents to get him back. But little did they know, their plan would completely backfire. They didn’t know that the boy they picked was a complete terror. In fact he wasn’t being a terror because he was trying to escape the kidnappers, he was just that way in general.
