She had 3 boxes in her hands. While walking past Target the female suspect threw one of the boxes into the trash can by the exit door of Target. After reviewing the footage of the incident, Malkin and I checked the trash can and found a package that contains Enfamil inside of the trash. We checked all of the trash cans near target and I was able to find to another package with the contents removed in one of the trash cans by Dress Barn. The box was for Target but it did not have any documentation stating what was inside. I return the package to Target to see if they can identify the contents but at this time they were unable to. Malkin advised they will call at a later date when they identify the item. Malkin provided me with documentation of the item stolen. He stated the Enfamil was $8.99 dollars Malkin provided me with a DVD copy of surveillance, and a receipt confirming the value of the Enfamil. The DVD and the two boxes were submitted to PCSO property and evidence. After taking photos of the mailboxes, I relocated to BJ’s Restaurant and made contact with the manager on duty to inform them of the incident. At this time she was unable to tell me what was inside the contents of their package. I gave her a business card with the case
Bermudez told me the purse did not belong to her. I asked Bermudez what was the can she dropped and she said, “I was drinking. The can belongs to me.” I asked Bermudez if there is anything illegal inside of the purse that I needed to know about and she said, “No.” I told Bermudez to sit in the backseat of my vehicle and she complied. I approached and grabbed the salmon colored purse I saw Bermudez drop. Laying on the ground next to the salmon colored purse was 1 24oz Black Berry Steel Reserve Alcoholic beverage (half full). I grabbed both of the items and returned to the hood of my vehicle. I searched the purse and found several large blue trash bags inside. I searched the trash bags and found 1 used methamphetamine pipe. I asked Bermudez if the methamphetamine pipe belonged to her and she said, “No.” I asked Bermudez if she uses any drugs and she said, “No. I found that
This case is about an experienced city postal carrier who has recently filled a position at a small town post office and has difficulty adjusting to a different way of life. The central characters include: Larry (the postmaster of Foster Creek), Jim (a senior carrier) and George (a senior carrier). The Foster Creek Post Office exists in a small town and the typical way of life is carried through at the post office. Harry has arrived at Foster from a fast-paced big city post office. Upon his arrival Harry is introduced to his new co-workers where he gives a shy hello and immediately begins his regular duties. Harry expresses no interest in becoming socially involved with Foster Creek and becomes further alienated from his co-workers. His remarkable efficiency and desire to complete his required work as well as any remaining incomplete work causes resentment towards his presence by the senior carriers. Larry is currently faced with the task of placing Harry with enough work to keep him occupied while maintaining harmony among the rest of the employees. His first suggestion is to lengthen Harry’s route, however the senior carriers disagree with Larry’s proposition.

The amount of letters commissioned in America has been steadily decreasing on a daily basis. The majority of citizens are now sending their letters via e-mail or other methods of technology. Postal service companies such as USPS are struggling to keep business thriving. To compete with the technological advances in modern America, USPS should restructure their postal systems by terminating unessential delivery days and strategically limiting postal branches in order to conserve government money.

Environment Destroyer “One of the things the government can 't do is run anything. The only things our government runs are the post office and the railroads, and both of them are bankrupt.” These are the words of Lee Iacocca, and although Iacocca was sarcastic about the power of the government, what about the post office (post office quotes)? Is the fine, dandy, and efficient post office we had back in the 1800s still apart of our world today? According to PSB.Org the Post office is on it’s way to complete deterioration (Lee).

At one point or another, we have all held and opened a piece of mail. Whether it was a birthday card, a letter from a friend, or even a bill, we have all held a piece of paper that was sent from somewhere else. Even in the age of Facebook and email, it is likely that you have held a piece of mail and most likely, the way it got from point A (the person sending the mail) to point B (the person receiving the mail) was through the United States Postal Service, or the USPS. In the past decade, the postal service has experienced a decreased volume in their letter mail. In fact, for the postal service, the volume of this letter mail has been "falling at a rate not seen since the Great Depression" and it is believed to be because the "substitution [of snail mail] to Internet-based communications" (Geddes). The postal service has started to experience such a decline in funds that they now face the issue of staying afloat. The United States Postal Service has to dig their way out of rut in order to keep from going down into extinction. Peter Rorvig, a United States postal worker in Zirconia, North Carolina, talks some about the USPS's struggles and the involvement that Congress has with the USPS in his blog "More Normal than Not." This passage raised two outside questions, exactly what is the postal service trying to do to solve this decline in funds and how much is Congress actually involved with the USPS?
The second objective is locating and identifying suspects. If it was a burglary in progress the responding officers will secure the outer perimeter and then conduct a systematic search of the residence looking for the suspect(s) (Columbus Police 2007). If the suspect(s) are located, an arrest is made. If the suspect(s) are not located, the responding officers will preserve the scene and any evidence which may have been left behind. This will make the residence safe for investigators to be in the area, and allow them to collect evidence.
Instances of property crime have a tendency to fluctuate particularly when the economy is in a state of decline; however, a report just released by the FBI claims property crimes have decreased based on averages taken from reporting agencies for the first six months of 2013 (Minegar, 2014). While actual incidences of property crime may have decreased the methods used in committing these crimes continues to change with advances in technology. Crimes like identity theft are reported regularly. Computer technology, the internet, and jurisdictional boundaries each pose difficulty in identification of person’s intent on amassing their fortunes by stealing from others. This paper will attempt to identify how taking is applicable in shoplifting cases, how security is trained to address these issues, explain what constitutes a home invasion, and why statutes have been implemented to allow home invasion to be considered a crime separate from other forms of robbery or burglary, and to clarify the definition of cybercrime as well as how the governments are attempting to combat it.
