A Conservative view of human nature basically depends that about what Conservatism wants to talk about, In general, Conservatives have a negative, pessimistic view of human nature. Conservatives view humans as generally selfish and self-serving and selfish and imperfect and thus unable to achieve what they view as utopian dreams. Conservatives view human reason as very limited and so it is dangerous if we plan a whole new society, detached from established norms and traditions which pertain wisdom from the fact of surviving. Humans have this kind of nature that if something goes against their point/ opinion or if something is not in their favor, they’ll react on it. And when a man becomes contemplative, he will become greedy.

When Machiavelli generalizes humanity qualities we consider to be human, such as empathy, compassion, and even free-will aren't even mentioned by him. Machiavelli strongly promoted a secular society and felt morality was not necessary. But he stood in fact, in the way of an effectively governed principality. Machiavelli believes the ruling Prince is an individual authority who can control every aspect of the state and can effect a policy according to his best interests. These interests were gaining, maintaining, and expanding his political power. Machiavelli was so quick to mock human nature. But Machiavelli believes that in time of difficulty, when the state is in need of its citizens there are few to be found. Machiavelli further questions the loyalty of the citizens and advises the Prince that because men are evil creatures who would not keep their word to you, you need to keep your word to them. If a prince cannot be both feared and loved, Machiavelli says it would be better for him to be feared by the citizens within his own principality.
