Whether it is with family, friends, or significant others our lives are filled with relationships that are incredibly close to our hearts. Some of these are so important to us that we hope they never come to an end, but the only way to truly preserve relationships is to have a strong and healthy bond. Qualities such as trust, communication, and forgiveness are key to keeping a healthy relationship. Trust is the foundation of a relationship, without trust there is nothing to build on.You and your partner should always be able to trust each other and not have to worry about lies. Lies could lead to conflict and a paranoid significant other, I say this from personal experience. But this is not only important in romantic relationships, your friends and family should always be able to trust you. Lying to your family, especially parents, can end really badly because not only do they have a lot of authority, but most of us still live with them. I have been in a relationship where there was no trust involved, and if i had to describe it I would say it is like being locked in a dark room and trying to search for the …show more content…
If you have been through some tough times or a fight, it matters how you handle the situation afterwords. One can chose to behave as a child would, by not speaking, ignoring, or having an attitude with that person. Actually, the mature thing to do would be to confront that person and go over the situation and really listen to that person, and consider their point of view and how that situation should have ended. If the conflict has escalated to far, then it is time to forgive. If you find yourself in the wrong, then go to that person and really tell them that you are truly sorry, and consider their feelings, and how if neither one of you ever handle the situation, that it will only lead to more problems down the
A good relationship cannot be found, it has to be created. Relationships are different for everybody and most of us feel we need a good relationship in our lives to make us feel better and live happier but that is that always necessarily the case? ‘Thefreedictionary.com’ defines relationship as ‘The condition or fact of being related; connection or association’ whereas the ‘urbandictionary.com’ defines a relationship as ‘A legal form of prostitution where a female collects money, cars, and other valuable things in exchange for sex’, both definitions are very different but which Is right and which is wrong? Truth is both may be right. The definition of relationship depends upon how you see it, therefore meaning there may be millions of different definitions out there. Shakespeare and Elizabeth Barrett Browning both investigate the developments and growth in relationships in their texts ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and ‘Sonnet 43’. Many similarities emerge from both texts despite both authors being centuries apart.
Trust is the one thing in this world that lots of people desire. Who wants to have any type of relationship without trust? Ziad K. Abdelnour, the CEO of a private investment firm, states that, “Trust is earned, respect is given, and loyalty is demonstrated. Betrayal of any one of those is to lose all three.” This quote in two sentences speaks volume to the reader. Trust is an important and key component to any relationship. Honesty is based on the truth, and the most general sign of this is not telling lies. Even the most simple and “inoffensive” lie could become problematic. For instance, my friend Tania was preparing a surprise party to her boyfriend, so she asked her friend Lily some borrowed money. One of those days she was thinking out loud that she had to pay 500 pesos, but she forgot that her boyfriend was there. When she realized that he was listening, she nervously finished her sentence saying that the money was for her mom. If he had asked her mom about the money, he would probably had doubt about Tania. That would probably caused him to start wondering why she would had lied about that money; consequently, they might have had some trust problems and they might had broken up. On the other hand, saying half-truths is not being honest either. It is not the same if a 17 year old girl says “mom, I am in Ana’s house”, than saying “mom, I am in the house that Ana has in Las Vegas”. Saying the first one will probably make the girl’s mom to freak out when she discovers that her immature and unconscious daughter is not where she told her. As a result, when the daughter comes back, her mom will not trust her anymore. The key of trust is honesty, and hones...

A couple is at their lowest point in this stage. Most of the time, a relationship doesn’t work out once it enter into this stage. However, if an individual really want that relationship then he or she will do whatever it takes to get the relationship back to where it needs to be in order for both of the individuals to be happy again. The relationship will never be the same and each person will always look back into the past. My relationship is definitely not perfect. Jamaal and I have had s many problems, but with faith and communication we made it work. Communication is the key to any healthy relationship. The way a couple talk to each other, interact, and solve disagreements is communication.

Asymmetry also plays a role in the differentiation of real and fake emotional expressions of the face. Ekman (1980) found that when an emotion was being falsified, that one side of the face, particularly the left, would detail a stronger intensity than on the right.
Trust: trust is fundamental for a relationships survival if you do not trust the other half in the relationship the relationship will fail as there will be a sense of insecurity. Trust is hard earned and easily lost.
To begin with, being honest is one of the few ways to get people to trust you. For example as stated in “Honesty and Friendship” by Magali Gonzalez from Pinterest, “Choosing to be honest is not always easy, but it is a defining element in how people perceive us. Let’s say that your best friend asks you if a new pair of shoes looks good and you say yes, but you really don’t think so, they could have wasted all of that money on a bad pair of shoes and, they might not
