Does the music I listen to, the movies and T.V. shows I watch reflect who I really am? Does growing up going to church and listening to Christian music reflect me? No, not entirely but to some extent yes it does reflect me. What about listening to country music? Well, yes your right listening to country music reflects who I am today, my childhood and my future plans for me and my family. How about all the Dateline and Grey’s Anatomy I choose to watch in my free time? Has watching Grey’s Anatomy and Dateline reflected who I am? Absolutely, I truly believe that watching Grey’s Anatomy in my free time has made me want to be a nurse. My literature choices represent my childhood, background, my future life and also my values in life in a very accurate way. …show more content…

After all most teenagers don’t listen to country music instead most listen to pop, rock, or hip-hop. Well, I on the other hand prefer country music or Christian music over anything. I have grown up listening to country music and someday I wish to own a farm and teach my kids how to ride our horses. I have always loved horses ever since I was little. Country music reflects me in ways others may see or may not see in me. Country music gives me that feeling of “country life”. When Im listening to country music it’s almost like Im living a dream? Well, yes to some extent to me it is like living a dream. It’s a dream of my future life with my family owning horses and other animals. Artists like Rascal Flatt’s in his song My Wish show what he wishes for his daughter’s future. Country music really shows the future plans I have for me and my family

The reason the comparison matters, then, is because there is a significant overlap between the two. It is certainly possible to enjoy country music without wishing for a return to Aryan values, and the majority of country music doesn’t advocate it. But enough popular songs feature nativism as a theme to the point that it shouldn’t be ignored.
