Lily Joined My Family

My name is Ta-kun. I am from japan, and I just moved back here so I don't really have that many friends right now. The only person who remembers me is Naomi, who is currently telling me every thing I missed out on while I was gone. One important thing she told me was about the old ancient temple. A scientist snuck inside and was never seen again. Rumors say a man came out saying that the scientist was alive and is updating the temple with traps, robots, and fancy gadgets that are hidden underground, blocking a trail that leads to his lab.
Hearing this made me cereous about the ancient things that might be inside and all the myths I heard. It didn't take Naomi long to figure out what was on my mind and she wasn't about to let me go in by myself. Naomi protested that we go in before next month so we could be out by time the police are ready to come in and search the place.
A week later, Naomi and I entered the pyramid carelessly and noticed a guard with a uniform saying "YF", this meant "your future". As we walked towards the man we could hear his feet hit the ground and it sounded like an anchor as if he were some type of machine. As soon as he made his way towards us, a bat flew between me and Naomi. It seemed to be startled by the guards foot steps. Naomi screamed as loud as she could and the other bats quickly swung down from the ceiling. I looked over I saw a bat set off a trap sending one arrow throw three of the confused creatures. What came out of the creature was no the color of blood, but indeed the color of oil.
All of the corruption distracted the guard, I could tell Naomi noticed too so we glanced over to the door that lead to the next room and made a run for it. The entrance slowly closed as we ran, but we couldn't...

... distracted we attempted to tackle him. I flew through him and Naomi grabbed him by the throat. This angered the man and he sent a spear through Naomi's hand. This made me so irritated that steam could've came out of my ears, So I picked up a spear and tossed it at him. It un-effectively went through him landing right in lily's hand facing towards the man. Lily was still sprinting towards him as he was harshly laughing while his back was turned. Lily launched the stick Him and his face expression went from laughter to regret. Naomi was fine but was more joyful then ever because everything was over.
All three of us exited the Temple, agreeing to keep Lily a being a ghost, between us and us only. As we exited Naomi kissed me on the cheek and asked if I could get my mother to adopt Lily. It just so happens that lily fit right in my family and wasn't a problem at all.
