"It is impossible to go through life without trust" is a very true statement about life itself, this quote is found in The ministry of Fear written in 1945. This quote means that if you don't trust other people or if you are not trusted you cannot live a healthy life. Two books that are good examples of this quote are Paper Towns and Looking for Alaska by John Green in both books there are characters that struggle to live life because they have physical and metaphorical trust issues. Trust can be a very dangerous thing, Trust can either make you or break you. Think of it like this trusting someone is like pouring gasoline all over yourself and then handing the people you "trust" match boxes and then asking them to not light you on fire, …show more content…
do you still trust them? This Is a extreme example of how dangerous trusting someone is but trust can hurt you as quick as lighting a match. The reason it is so hard to trust people is because throughout life we all trust a few people who break their promises and light that match leaving us with permanent scars that are a constant reminder of how easy it is to turn on someone. In the book Paper towns the topic of trust plays a huge roll with one of the main characters Margo. Margo is the wild child who nobody trusts, she runs away all the time leaving little clues here and there but never enough to actually find her until she wants to be found. in the beginning of the book she seems to be extremely happy, she's living the typical life that every teenager wishes they had but she's lacking one important thing, trust. The book never says it but when you read between the lines you can see that the bridges she burns with her parents trust in her and her trust in all of the people she had closest to her caused her to break. Margo disappears leaving little clues not meant to help anyone find her just to let anyone who cared know that she was alright, she was broken she felt like everyone in that town was made of paper and broken strings just like her. Trust is what broke her it brought her from the coolest kid that everyone wanted to be to a depressed kid who lived in a paper town that looked pretty from far away but was a lot uglier up close. The character Margo may not die but the person she was did. The main character in the book Looking for Alaska had hidden issues from the beginning she went through a lot in her life but she hid her burn marks well.
Alaska was a problem child who lost the trust of many people when she "ratted out" one of her best friends just to save herself. Even after she was found out to be the rat she still had her close friends but lost their trust which was a big part of her downfall. One night she was hanging out with the friends she had left, and she drank a little to much got into the car and crashed head on into a police car. this was the final match thrown by Alaska because after all that happened to her nobody knew whether it was an accident or if she was so upset that she aimed for the empty cop car to end it all. This is a perfect example of how without trust sometimes you can literally no longer live your life. A life liven without trust is no life, in the long run if you don't have the trust of those around you then you are living a life nobody wants or deserves. a burnt bridge can always be rebuilt but not if you keep throwing gasoline and matches on it. In life you have to watch who you hand your matches to and not only that but don't light any matches unless you want to see yourself or someone else

“Trust takes years to build, seconds to break, and forever to repair. - Anonymous”. If you have ever felt isolated from society, or feel that you are constantly begging for the mercy of your own subconscious, then you know the pain accompanied by expending trust. It is imperative for humanity to cultivate trust; if we lose it, we will simply degenerate into insanity. For instance, in the texts “On the Sidewalk Bleeding”, “The Tell-Tale Heart” as well as “The Landlady”, characters were tasked with uncovering the role that trust plays in conquering challenges. In doing so, they also suffered through fluctuating degrees of tailored hardships.
We have all been there, trusted someone then they turn right around a betray you.
Is loyalty important to everyone? How important to you? Does it affect your friendships? In Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini loyalty is one of the themes that is explored, it is shown three times through the phrase “For you a thousand times over”. “For you a thousand times over” is said three times, once Hassan to Amir, Farid to Amir, and then finally Amir to Sohrab. Each time this is said it represents a loyalty and who the loyalty is towards
Trust is a trait one should obtain for the people they know are the most honest. To trust someone means to put ones full confidence and reliability on an acquaintance such as someone one is close with. In The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, Brutus, one of the leading characters put his complete trust in the people trying to tell him what he should believe. Brutus joined the conspirators to help take down Julius Caesar because he believed it was what was good for Rome based on what he was deceived. This resulted in the killing of Caesar and the death of himself and others. Not considering the right kind of trust in someone can lead to very troubling things. Cassius told a lie as if it was a truth so Brutus
Trust is the one thing in this world that lots of people desire. Who wants to have any type of relationship without trust? It is not something that should be automatically given though, trust has to be earned. People should not automatically trust just because they know them or have been knowing them for a while.
-Following Alaska’s death, her friends search for an explanation to why she became depressed that night and whether it was a suicide or not.
Trust within family members is one of the strongest forms of trust in the world. This is because people will tend to trust other people that they have known for a long time, which are family members. However if this trust is broken, it could be a huge disaster. If someone breaks trust with a friend or acquaintance, it will suffer some consequences. However, if someone breaks trust with a family member, not only could that connection be lost, but might also turn those family members into enemies. Hamlet by William Shakespeare and Antigone by Sophocles show how important trust is within a family and the consequences of a lack of trust within family members. The relationships between Hamlet and Gertrude, Ophelia and Polonius, Antigone and
Paragraph 2: Another important factor that made survival possible for salva is perseverance. In chapter 9 on page 52 it says, “After only a few minutes Salva had to kick off the flapping shreds and continue barefoot.” That shows perseverance because despite the fact that the sand was scorching. Salva didn’t give up and instead of complaining through the hike across the desert. He endured his pain from the thorns stabbing his feet and stubbing his bare toe on the rock which resulted in his whole toenail coming off. On top of that, the hardest thing Salva had ever done, was taking tiny sips when his body sobbed for huge gulps of thirst- quenching water.
This quote seems to be pointing to the main idea that trust can be easily lost, even if its just suspicion and it will change the way a person views others and the world. They usually trusted the community enough to not lock their doors, but suddenly they don’t trust each other, changing the way they think of each and their neighborhood.
Trust is defined as the reliance on the integrity, strength, ability or surety of a person or thing. To break ones trust is to lose their confidence in the person or thing. Trust can be broken with a single, unreliable action and is often challenging and difficult to win back. In the case of the one whose trust was broken, it is a difficult, jarring and abrupt change of reality to discover the betrayal and loss of trust in someone who they once relied upon . In William Shakespeare 's play entitled Hamlet, the protagonist Hamlet is unable to take swift revenge on his father 's murderer. This is due to the fact that Hamlet has become distrustful of the most important people in his life and so this sparks a question in those around him but also

Always trust someone who is close to your family. Sometimes, consider them as family. In the end that person will do anything for you, because you have a place in their heart as they do in yours. Love
My mother had me at eighteen she went to school and worked so she was only home for a few hours to be with me. The trust was established when I realized that no matter how much she had to work and go to school, she always came home. I am pretty sure that she was there to meet my basic needs in the beginning, but eventually she had to go back to work and school. So, I was mostly with my grandmother however, I trust my mother with whole heartedly. The trust between me and my mom I believe is a part of that unbreakable bond that a parent has with their child. However, my father was around and met my basic needs, but he lost my trust when I was six and he had a baby with another woman and didn't come around to see me and when my mom would take me over to his house he would pretty much ignore me. I still love him and to be honest I will trust him because he is my father and I am sure we will never let any harm happen to me. Trust is earned and can be damaged however with a parent there is always going to be that bond that make you trust them because they are supposed to want what is best for
I have always had a hard time learning how to trust people. The one person I found that I could trust with everything was my sister Brittany. I could always go to her and let her know if I had done something wrong. She would assure me that she would not tell anyone if I didn’t want her to. I knew all my secrets would be safe with her and that nobody would find out unless I told them. This was very important to me because I haven’t had very good luck in finding people whom I can trust. Brittany has never told anyone a secret that I told her. Knowing that I could trust my sister with anything helped make our relationship stronger.
