Many books can teach you many life lessons as Charlotte’s Web did for me. People read books to gain knowledge and learn new skills and lessons from them and the majority of books teach very valuable lessons. In the book Charlotte’s web I learned some very valuable life lessons but I’m choosing three to write about. I learned that loyalty is very important as well as the aspect of friendship and the last thing I learned was to give people who seem rough around the edges a chance.
Loyalty is a very important lesson to take from the story, because Fern is loyal to Wilbur and Wilbur is loyal to Fern. The idea of being able to stand by someone no matter what is extremely important and one worth learning. In the book, Fern is loyal to Wilbur from day one and for that matter she is loyal to all the pigs. When Wilbur arrived on the farm Fern had saw her father had an axe

When Wilbur first meets Charlotte, she seems brutal, fierce and bloodthirsty only for insects of course. But in giving Charlotte a chance, he realizes that she has a kind heart and has everybody’s best interest. Charlotte believe it or not turns out to be one of the most clever creatures Wilbur has ever known (White). More people should really follow the saying never judge a book by it’s cover.
Charlotte's Web surprisingly turned out to be a great and inspiring novel for me to read. I gained a lot of life lessons and tips from the book more people should definitely read it. I took in the importance of loyalty, the aspect of friendship and last but the one I find the most important is to give people a chance even if they seem a bit rough on the edges. People could actually learn a lot of great things from this book, so they should stop judging this book by it’s cover because you can actually take something away from reading a kid’s
I can relate this book to my life in many ways; it was easier for me to relate to this book because were both 18 year old girls who want to live life the right way. Also I don’t want to live life trying to be like everyone else, so this was really encouraging to me. A part that helped me was the part about confidence and how important that is. Its important to have confidence in your faith because say you get in a situation you can protect your faith and stand up for what you believe. Another part that I can really apply to my life was how when people were talking about her she didn’t even beg to know. Personally whenever I hear that someone was talking about me, I really want to know what they said! This helped me to learn that why fill my brain with negativity sinful gossip, because that’s not what Jesus would do.
I think that the messages this book displays are important for anyone to think about, and apply to their lives every day.
... all the animals in the barn Wilbur wouldn’t of made it. The fair setting definitely has its own impact on the movie. The fair has Wilbur in a show for a prize. If he doesn’t win this prize he will probably end up as Christmas ham. His competition was this huge pig that was more than likely going to win first prize. However, that didn’t get Wilbur down. Even though he didn’t win first prize for the show, he still won a medal that would save him from becoming a Christmas ham. This setting reveals that even though it’s close to end that you should never give up.
Many moral responsibilities are also learnt, this is the most important lesson from all is to trust your instincts which both characters of the book have developed.
One of which was her aunt, Harriet Beecher Stowe a famed novelist. This is when she began to love reading and all sorts of genres. One of her favorite would have been fiction because of her vivid imagination; however her mother would later forbid her to read fiction novels. That would change again because her mother would start reading those novels and would find themselves reading to each other. Because of her joy for reading, Charlotte was a very intellectual...
In “Charlottes Web ” by E. B. White, Wilbur an ordinary farm pig learns to see himself as extraordinary. He has this change in perspective due to the perception of his arachnid friend Charlotte. In fact, Charlotte changes the perception of Wilbur’s mundane existence to one that inspires, among all of the human characters as well. Charlotte understands something very integral to humanity, that just a few words can change everything that we perceive.
and know that we as humans have to gain a better understanding of one another. I enjoyed reading this book because not only
I began to read not out of entertainment but out of curiosity, for in each new book I discovered an element of real life. It is possible that I will learn more about society through literature than I ever will through personal experience. Having lived a safe, relatively sheltered life for only seventeen years, I don’t have much to offer in regards to worldly wisdom. Reading has opened doors to situations I will never encounter myself, giving me a better understanding of others and their situations. Through books, I’ve escaped from slavery, been tried for murder, and lived through the Cambodian genocide. I’ve been an immigrant, permanently disabled, and faced World War II death camps. Without books, I would be a significantly more close-minded person. My perception of the world has been more significantly impacted by the experiences I've gained through literature than those I've gained
It is important for Charlotte Brontë to leave the reader with such a lesson because she wants to show the reader that everyone can look at Jane Eyre as a role model for being and becoming independent. With this she shows that in order to become independent you must believe in yourself and not let others bring you down and withhold you from achieving your aspiration. In letting others withhold you or keep you back from accomplishing great things you give them vast pride in being a roadblock in your life.
Charlotte's Web Charlotte's Web is a moving story about farm animals. Many writers use abstract and abstruse diction to interpret a particular idea, but E. B. White is different from white. The language used, the style, and the plots. this book is very humorous and I find it so impressive. The author E. B. White, excels in creating animal characters that can talk and feel normally like humans as a simple farm was depicted as a lively family.
The lessons are numerous and range from trivial to profound, but there’s one that's had the most impact on my life. Fortunately, I was born into a unconditionally loving family with good health and parents that I feel comfortable talking to under almost any circumstance. Until I got to really know my friends, I was aware that not everybody’s lives were like this but never really understood what a life without those privileges was like. But then my perspective changed when I found out that a couple of my friends have terrible relationships with their parents and suffer from depression and anxiety. Another one of my friends suffers from chronic migraines and has been hospitalized three times in the past year. All of my friends are incredible individuals, and knowing in detail of what they withstand on a daily basis has made me more empathetic to the people around me. I think we all forget sometimes that other people are people, we subconsciously go into this state of mind thinking we’re the center of the whole world. But in actuality, that is not the case; everyone else has their own unique lives and issues they’re dealing with. So what I’ve learned by knowing of my friends’ distinctive stories is just to be more cognizant of others. It's difficult to have that state of mind all the time, but in doing so I have better relationships with
With every book and most tragedies there can be something, or many things, that you can learn from it. In Romeo and Juliet you can learn a lot of things, like not holding a grudge, you can’t hold back love, and you shouldn’t rush things. With 9/11 we learned the power of teamwork and heroism, and to uphold more security on planes. It’s amazing
Overall I enjoyed reading this book, I read it a few years ago in high school, but I took more from it this time and was able to apply it more to my experiences and events I have witnessed. I’m glad the novel was assigned for me to read because it really made me think about the world today and how we interact in the world. It actually brought up questions and connections that I didn’t see when I read the book years ago. This novel will always be relevant and I’m sure will be read years from now.
The main idea of a book is that If you go someplace new, you probably won’t have many friends at first but not to let that stop you from doing your best and doing what you believe is right. To know that you will make friends and have a great time. In the beginning of the book, charlie starts high school and doesn’t have many friends but soon he makes the best friends he has ever had in his life. “ I am writing you this letter because I am starting high school tomorow and I am really afraid of going.”
us to our conclusions as adults and as children. This is where Charlotte's Web comes into effect. One could conclude this story has remained a children's classic over the last four and a half decades because society can still relate to it as a whole ... not very much has changed.
