Management in organizations today are trying to capture both quality and productivity (bottom line results) from their employees, and are spending millions of dollars in time, capital, and human resources. However, without the proper paradigm shift in leadership roles, which must include a new appreciation on the importance of principled centered leadership that recognizes that people are the highest value in any organization, the investment no matter how great will not accomplish their goals. Managers today have to become more effective in leading and managing their employees. They have to start with a new mind set, change their frame of reference, change how they see the world, how they think about people, and how they view management and leadership. This will bring about quantum improvements in their organization. (Covey) Today's authoritarian style puts managers at a higher level of importance than that of his employees, he makes the decision, gives the commands, and workers conform and cooperate, perform and contribute as requested to receive the rewards of pay and other benefits. When managers accept that the "old way" of doing things is not fundamentally the right way, and they shift to a new style that puts principle-centered leadership first, a unique relationship will develop. They will see that people have more creative energy, resourcefulness, and initiative to contribute when they feel valued and their accomplishments are valued. When managers begin to work with the whole person and embrace principles of fairness and kindness and make better use of their talents, than people have a sense of doing something that matters, something with meaning. (Covey) In my organization we are fast paced and deadline driven, each of us has to train and depend on our employees decision making process. I know which of my employees can handle which tasks and set goals for each according to their abilities. I usually get them together in a group to discuss what our immediate objectives are. I encourage input from every level, including our part time employees, so everyone feels included and when we achieve goals, everyone wins. We monitor our progress, and meet frequently if a problem arises, and are very quick to praise each other when we have moved closer to our goals. I feel including everyone in this process gives everyone a sense of ownership in the organization. My employees want to contribute, they take great pride in helping in the decision making process, their sense of meaning and worth are just as great a reward as any paycheck could be.
Throughout her life, Moody finds that nonviolent protests by African Americans are only met by violent retaliation from whites. In her first peaceful protest where she sat in a whites only waiting area of a bus station, she was harassed by the white people in the section who eventually form a mob and try to pursue her even when she leaves. In a later sit in she and several other African Americans sat down to be served in a whites only restaurant, and another mob formed that threw condiments at her group and violently attacked them. Then she is deeply shaken by the murder of Medgar Evers, a leader of the NAACP whom she knew personally who advocated nonviolence. This event was a tragedy for everyone involved in the civil rights movement. In Eyes on the Prize, Medgar’s wife says “When Medgar was felled by that shot and I rushed out and saw him lying there … I don 't think I have ever hated as much in my life as I did at that particular moment with anyone who had white skin … I can recall wanting so much to have a machine gun or something in my hand and just stand there and mow them all down.” Moody experiences a similar indignant anger over this devastating catastrophe, and in the aftermath she has loses all hope in preventing white violence through black nonviolence, to the extent that she begins to view nonviolent leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. with disdain and

The desire to be the best, to be dominant among a group of people can reveal a character’s deepest fears or weaknesses. To be great requires a certain personality, but is it not always easy to come out on top. In the play “A Doll’s House”, by Henrik Ibsen, there are multiple endeavors for dominance. Torvald battles Krogstad over being the most successful; driven by money and a power hungry ego, this conflict reveals more about both men’s personalities. Consequently, their struggle unveils Nora’s fight to be independent and depart from society’s norms.
The only way to develop the kind of leaders a changing organization needs is to make leadership a critical criterion for promotion, and then manage people’s careers to develop it.
Leadership is defined as the action of guiding an individual or group of people. Effective leaders shape the behavior and thought process of the individuals around them. As a result, the success of an organization is often impacted by the leadership style and approach of its leaders. Even when engaging with multiple people, impactful leaders maintain their own style of leadership but occasionally change their approach based on the motivational needs of each individual. However, regardless of the style, leadership within an organization is designed to drive the performance of their employees and it is done through proficient communication. This guidance influences the culture of an organization, which subsequently, helps to shape its leaders.
Although there are many outstanding, albeit necessary qualities of a good leader, it is the leader’s beliefs in which greatness is given its first breath, fostered by action, and spread throughout the institution. A great leader believes in encouraging, not destroying; in setting the precedence instead of yielding to prominence ; in collaboration, not division; in giving, not taking; and in having high standards and volunteering to be the first of many to be held to them. A great leader does not take advantage of the people being lead, but instead, creates an advantage for the people by giving them the opportunities to lead. Only when people take ownership of an institution will passion be cultivated, action be taken, and greatness be achieved.
There are numerous views on the concept of single sex schools, and if they are beneficial or actually detrimental to the students who attend. Autin (2015) states that while it is normal for public schools to be coeducational, many private and parochial schools have been operating single sex schools for many years. One of the many main controversial topics when discussing these schools is stereotyping. From the pros to the cons, this paper will touch base on many different views as to how students can be affected positively or negatively by attending these single sex schools.

Firstly, supporters of the idea of single sex schools believe that it provides better educational environment. They claim so as the presence of both genders in one classroom creates distraction due to the physical and emotional problems. Even Aggression and violence also increased distraction in single-sex classes. Aggression and violence increased recently for boys with outstanding rates in single sex schools. In case of girls, they keep on chatting with each other in single-sex classrooms, but when the boys are around, their rate of chatting decreases because they are shy sometimes from the other gender. When it comes to Same-Sex schools many people have mixed feelings about it. Whether to them it may be a good thing to have single sex schools or bad. When you think of single sex schools the first thing that may come to your mind may be “I would never survive in an all boy/girl school” depending on what your age may be. But there are as much and possibly more advantages then there are disadvantages. When it comes to females in a single sex school their learning experiences and outcomes may be different of that from males. There are many statistics suggesting that all boy or girl schools are more beneficial to the students, as opposed to a tradition co-ed school. But many other statics may say otherwise.
Leadership, without doubt, is a significantly important function of management. It helps to aggrandize efficiency and to fulfil an organization’s goals. Leadership is the ability of a manager to induce the subordinates to work with confidence, determination, courage and zeal. It is also defined as ability to influence a group towards the realization of a goal. Leaders should have the capability of developing future visions, and to drive the organizational members to want to attain the visions. This paper states my points in which I duly believe, justifies the importance of an outstanding leader in any organization.
