Lawrence Willoughby, an African American male, was born in 1881 in Pitt County, North Carolina. He was the son of Lannie Anderson and X Willoughby. Lawrence married at 22,a woman by the name of Jennie Best on December 20, 1903. Records says that the two married in Pitt County, North Carolina. They had eight children in 13 years. He died on August 4, 1951, in Greenville, North Carolina, at the age of 70. In 1905, Lawrence had his first child. His name was Hermon Willoughby. About two years later in 1907, Lawrence second child was born. Another boy, and his name was Ramon Willoughby. In 1908, Lawrence and his wife gave birth to a baby girl and her name was Dinah Willoughby. From my knowledge, it was kind of usual for a couple to have children a couple years apart. Although I was trying to figure out if the Willoughbys had children back to back purposely. And if it was done purposely, what was the reason? In 1910 there was another child born that was unnamed. On this child, I only found a birthdate. I'm curious as to why this baby was unnamed. I feel that this child could've been taken from the family, a miscarriage, or something of that nature. year of 1910, Lawrence and his family moved to another residence on Nichols Road in Beaverdam, North Carolina. The residence was still in Pitt County of North Carolina. Records says that Lawrence was a farmer. When I saw that important fact, I thought to myself that maybe since he'd had his own children and moved to a new residence, he'd own a farm. That was the case! Lawrence must have bought a farm of his own at age 29 in Beaverdam, North Carolina. After the family's move to Beaverdam, another child was born. A male named Luke Willoughby. He was born in 1912. Another child came right after in 1913, her name was Laucy Willoughby. two years later in 1915, son Noah Willoughby was born. In my mind I'm thinking that Jennie body was tired and exhausted. Their daughter Laucy died in Novemeber of 1917. She was killed by a train at a crossing. Laucy was just five years old. In 1918 Lawrence and Jennie gave birth to a baby girl named her Jennie as well.
I believe the child was named and was planned because of the death unexpected death of Laucy. Two years later they moved to Belvoir, North Carolina. Still in Pitt County. However from the federal census, it says that they were buying this particular house. Lawrence was still a famer so he still had a farm house. At this time he was age 40. ten years later in 1930, Lawrence is sent to a prison camp in Macon County, North Carolina. Records does not show what he did to be sent to a convict prison camp, but is does show that he was forced to work on state roads. Twenty years later in 1951, Lawrence died and left behind his family of 9 including his wife. Lawrence died from a disease. He was buried in Greenville, North

No black school was available locally so he was forced to move. He said "Good-bye" to his adopted parents, Susan and Moses, and headed to Newton County in southwest Missouri. Here is where the path of his education began. He studied in a one-room schoolhouse and worked on a farm to pay for it. He ended up, shortly after, moving with another family to Fort Scott in Kansas. In Kansas, he worked as a baker in a kitchen while he attended the High School. He paid for his schooling with the money he earned from winning bake-off contests. Nick Wilde, born into a poor, single-parent household in 1982, was known by many as a "sly fox". He had much to overcome in his short life. The traditional view of Zootopians in the 1980's painted predators as aggressive and even savage group. As a young fox pup, he was bullied by a group of local prey after trying to join their Junior Rangers Troop. By the time he was a young adult, he began to see himself as the vicious predator they described. He turned to a life of crime; however, he made a complete turnaround in his last years. Briefly before his death, he became an officer at the ZPD. His service was unfortunately cut short when he became the victim of a shooting on January 20, 2017. He and partner Judy Hopps were

It is the 60’s in Jackson, Mississippi in this time era there is obvious signs of racism and segregation. Hilly Holbrook is a white privileged mother and wife of a wealthy Politian. Why is Hilly the president of the Junior League? She said that being president gives her a sense of control. Why does Hilly create the bathroom initiative, which would require all Mississippi families to have an outdoor bathroom for their black employees? Hilly said she truly thinks black people carry dieses that can harm white people. Which I believe is very absurd and ridiculous to even think that. Charles was born on June 20, 1947 in Cannelton, Indiana. The first home that he remembers living in was a two-bedroom log cabin with his mom, dad, and three sisters. He specifically remembers that the house had a wood burning stove and how his family did not have an icebox. Instead, they kept the items that they needed to refrigerate in a water pump hole to keep them cold. His parents were tobacco sharecroppers, so his family moved around a lot. He went to first grade in Cynthiana, Indiana, and then his family moved to Calhoun, Kentucky where he finished the rest of elementary school. Then, his family moved to Louisville, Kentucky where he went to middle school. Once Charles got to the ninth grade, he decided to drop out of school and move to Evansville, Indiana to live with his older sister.

Stephen Crane entered into the world of writing when realism was prominent. He had adopted this new view on writing called naturalism. Naturalism attacks composing text from a philosophical sense and dives in deeper than realism. It was a struggle for him to be successful writing in a style that people had not been exposed to yet. Because of Stephen Crane’s friends and family influence, he was able to write the Red Badge of Courage and help begin the naturalistic movement (American Lit)
