The riots following the Freddie Gray arrest were reported around the country and created a situation where the Governor was forced to call in the National Guard to protect the city. Community leaders report that African American’s are stopped, searched and arrested at a far greater number than Caucasian’s. The Baltimore city police are at an impasse with the community at this time, it is up to the city leaders and the police officials to come up with some real solutions to the issues that can no longer be ignored.

That is only in three years time, compared to the deaths of terrorism it is still less but this website is only look at three years of deaths. According to an article on cnn.com the deaths of American lives since 2001 by terrorism is at 3,380, while that is high that is information that has been taken over 14 years while the 2,966 deaths by police has only occurred in 3 years time. In 1884 they had 3 patrolmen besides the marshal and by 1886 as needed they got 3 more policemen. The marshal and on other guy had the day shift while the others had the night shift. In 1890 they decide to pay the policemen $2.00 per night. By the turn of the centry they finally got a patrol wagon and got paid $55.00 a month.
