The movie’s cast consisted of eight to ten characters ranging from different supporting roles. Lara was devastated after her father’s disappearance which led me to believe that she is strong willed by how her character is performed throughout the movie script. In addition to Lara’s missing father figure, she is left with reminiscent memories and later has a dream of her father who hints to her where to find the key to “the triangle of light.” In the morning Lara finds an object that resembles a clock and since she isn’t too familiar with clocks she takes it to be reviewed by Mr. Wilson who is played by Leslie Philips. Lara gives some background information about the clock referring back to “the triangle of light” but Wilson disregards her claim and he later reveals her name to the illuminati member Manfred Powell regarding the clock hoping Manfred can obtain this clock device. Lara carries on trying to figure out what the device is used for when she gets a letter from her father detailing the usage of the clock and its importance to retrieving the two halves of the “triangle of light.” The triangle of light is emphasized as a powerful object that has the capacity of mass destruction and also has the ability to travel through time and space. Moreover, the characters find themselves in Cambodia fighting over the pieces of the triangle that her father requested her to destroy due to its destructive potential. Lara is

The movie I chose to write about is called “The Maze Runner” It is about a group of children that get dropped off inside a maze. When they wake up they have no memory of who took them there, or why they are there; They call this place “The Glades.” A new person randomly appears each month to try and pass a test which they are unaware of at the time.

The movie follows the character of Barbra and Ben and other five persons trapped in a certain farmhouse in a rural town in Pennsylvania which is attacked by a large of group non-living human beings which are not named with characterized features of a monster (Romero). In the onset of the film, the main character Barbra and her brother Johnny drive to the rural town of Pennsylvania for a customary visit to the father’s grave. The movie is set within a short space of time (almost real time) in which we see Four of the Six active members of a jewelry heist gone wrong dealing with the repercussions of their crimes. Amongst them is Mr. Orange, or, Undercover Cop Freddy Newendyke, as he’s revealed to be toward the end of the movie. He is the Undercover Cop, The Rat that everyone is talking about. Orange single handedly destroys their operation and essentially Joe Cabot’s criminals-for-hire business seeing as he died by gunshot in the end. However the operation costed Orange his life, or presumably so. That’s something I’ll get to later.
Mel Gibson has reached an acting pinnacle, at least so far, with Braveheart. It is an epic
RPGs or role playing games are games in which the player takes on the roles of the characters and controls their actions in order to further character development. RPGs generally have a strong story and character back story that fully immerses the player in the fictional world. Final Fantasy 13 or FF13 for short is the 13th installment in the Final Fantasy franchise and it that falls under this genre of gaming. A game of this genre and style should strive to have well developed visuals, a complete story, full character backstories that are interesting, a non-linear gameplay, and a solid functioning combat system. These things among others are the backbone of games in general and meeting them in a way that creates an in-depth and fun experience is required. All these elements are existent in FF13 but some of them are not fine-tuned or developed enough in order to create an enjoyable experience. Based on those criteria Final Fantasy 13 falls short in compared to its previous installments and in the genre in general.
The true test of a film’s greatness is time. The 1984 science-fiction/comedy classic, Ghostbusters, has stood the test of time, producing both a sequel (in 1989) and a hit cartoon series. Ghostbusters is the story of three offbeat scientists interested in paranormal matters: Peter Venkman (played by Bill Murray), Raymond Stanz (played by Dan Aykroyd), and Egon Spengler (played by Harold Ramis), who have just lost their university grant, and are suddenly forced out onto the streets of New York. What will they do now to survive? After taking a third mortgage out on Ray’s family home, Peter, Ray, and Egon decide to pursue the idea of catching and containing ghosts in the private sector. Their business, fittingly named: “Ghostbusters”, starts out slow, but quickly the word spreads of their ghost investigation and extraction services. Within seemingly no time at all, the Ghostbusters are a hot commodity in New York where ghost activity is on the rise.
“You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.” What pill would you take? The film, The Matrix, mirrors Plato’s allegory. They revolve around the concept of imprisonment of the mind. In other words, a slave, when a person’s mind is taken from reality. To further my explanation, they are controlled to believe that they are free. Although, they are not free, because they are living a life that’s not real.
The 2006 movie, ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ is a documentary about United States Vice President Al Gore and his tremendous efforts to educate people about global warming and its horrible impacts on our environment.
Action/Adventure movies have one purpose, and that is to have the audience on the edge of their seat for the duration of the movie. National Treasure accomplishes that feat. Staci Layne Wilson of The Fantastica Daily recaps the movie perfectly by writing “Secret societies revealed a quest for the truth and treasure, a hateful bad guy, and a good guy and good girl who share some romance along the way.” National Treasure has something for everyone and this film will keep audiences of all ages glued to the screen. Even though the movie can be deemed unrealistic at times, those who can get beyond that fact will truly enjoy the movie. National Treasure is a must see for action/adventure fans and can be found in stores on DVD.
Angelina started acting at a young age. She became popular by taking on the title role Lara Croft. Off-screen Angelina has become involved in international charity projects. Especially those involving refugees. She often appears in many Most Beautiful Women lists, and she has a personal life that is avidly covered by the press. In her earliest years she began absorbing the acting craft from her parents. At age 11 Angelina began studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute where she was seen in several stage productions. At age 16 she took up a career in modeling and appeared in some music videos.

The storyline of Tomb Raider (2013) contributes to Lara Croft’s depiction as a dynamic, believable character. Previously, Croft bravely dived into unknown locations and ruins unflinchingly; the same cannot be said about her portrayal in 2013. Croft is unwillingly tossed into the dangerous environment of the island of Yamatai and must fight for her survival without the opportunity to doubt her instincts. The plot opens with a shipwreck onto an uncharted island, with Lara and her acquaintances immediately exposed to the savagery of its natives. It is the spontaneous struggle between staying alive by any means and maintaining old morals that does not play a part in the old Tomb Raider series, yet plays a crucial role in the growth of Lara within her latest installment.
