Kurt Donald Cobain was found dead in the green house of his mansion on March 1994, cause of death “suicide by self inflicted gunshot wound” or at least what was pronounced and believed by many to this day. It is plain and simple he was murdered.
Kurt Cobain the singer and guitarist of the 90s band Nirvana which was an alternative rock band from 1988 to 1994. Cobain was born in the town of Aberdeen Washington. Aberdeen is a rural white trash town that borders Seattle the birth place of “Grunge”. Before them at record stores there were special sections for alternative music, they popularized it. However many grunge bands were around such as Mud Honey and The Melvins.
Kurt had three times the lethal 225 mgs dose of heroin in his blood system with puncture marks in both arms (Grant). Medical experts and doctors will tell you that with that much heroin in your blood stream if you don’t instantly die you would fall into a coma in a few seconds. Kurt supposedly shot up that insane dosage of heroin, pulled out the needle, put the syringe neatly into a cigar box feet away, then picking up a Remington 20-gauge shotgun he placed it in his mouth and fired. According to Tom Grant and other researchers it is an impossible feat even for a hardcore abuser such as Cobain. Not only did he have heroin in his system he also had valium in his blood. Valium doesn’t mix well with heroin making a small overdose bad; Kurt’s overdose wasn’t a small one. It’s not possible that he shot himself with a shotgun or any gun and if so why? Why would someone shoot themselves when they were on so much junk they would just die in their sleep? He had a daughter Frances Bean that makes it hard enough to believe he did it with out the scientific impossibility. “Dead Men Don’t Pull Triggers” (Roger Lewis). “Drug related suicides are often a staged cover up for murder” (RL).
The police report of the suicide read, there were no legible finger prints on the shot gun, the pen which was used for the suicide note, or on the bow of shot gun shells. Kurt Cobain had finger prints, and it’s not as if he were wearing gloves. If one thinks that’s amazing for supposedly committing suicide, Sergeant Cameron admitted two years later that there wasn’t any sign of Kurt firing a gun there wasn’t any marks on his hands such as Gunshot residue. Why was eve...

...life towards the end of it all he got diagnosed and had surgery many said he was a new man. “He seemed really clean when we were on tour. In some ways it was really awkward he wasn’t joining in the very mild debauchery that went on” (shelley). Rosemary Carroll, long time friend and lawyer of the Cobains told investigator Tom Grant in April1994 that Kurt wasn’t suicidal over and over when asked. Courtney’s own father has a book in which he expresses how he thinks Courtney knows who killed Kurt or was in on it herself. That is just wrong to accuse your daughter of that. Yes he could be a heartless whacko trying to cash in on his story or he really knows what he is talking about because he can’t let the truth go unknown.
Kurt Cobain's death labeled a suicide by most media and police could not have been not only did people who knew Kurt discredit the suicide lie. There is concrete evidence he didn’t do it and the case should be reopened. I think why the Seattle Police department doesn’t reopen the case is it is a huge embarrassment to the force. A blunder of that size would make them look very badly. Kurt is innocent of Suicide and murderer is out there.
W hat went wrong I thought to myself? I remember hearing the news of his death on a local radio station. I've been a Sublime fan since my senior year of high school. The single "Date Rape" made the Chicago airwaves and I was hooked. I did a little research and I discovered that Bradley had been in and out of rehabilitation centers since 1992. Many people that I've talked to about Bradley's death really didn't seem to care. Being a huge Sublime fan, I was angered by their ignorance. Most of the time I heard people say that it was Bradley's fault for taking the drug in the first place, but I came to realize that it really wasn't his fault. Troy Nowell says in the VH1 documentary on Bradley that obviously the drug was "bigger than both of us (Bradley and Troy)". She said he hated what he was doing, and tried to stop numerous times, but the world is ignorant to the fact that this drug, heroin, is extremely physically addictive. Bud Gaugh, the drummer of Sublime, said he used to hug, sweat, and cry with Bradley during his fight with heroin. If it were his choice, Bradley would've stopped using it, but heroin took a hold of his nerves and his entire body.
On Thanksgiving evening, November 27, 1992, Sergeant Kenneth Mathison and his wife Yvonne drive their 1988 tan Ford van along Route 131 in Hilo, Hawaii. The rain is pouring down and before he knows it, Kenneth Mathison is awaiting police assistance as he cradles his wife’s dead body in the back of their van. Mathison, a sergeant of 25 years with the Hilo Police Department was allegedly informing his wife, a maternity nursing professional at the Hilo Medical Center, that he was being investigated in his second paternity suit. According to Mathison, when Yvonne heard the news, she jumped from the passenger side of the van. While he was looking for her in the blinding rain, Mathison purportedly ran over his wife. He then carried the body into the van and secured it with yellow rope in the back before attempting to find help. Will the forensic evidence support Mathison’s account of that fateful evening?
Just like members of other minorities, such as Hispanics and African-Americans, Deaf people experience some of the same oppression and hardships. Although the attempts to "fix" members of and obliterate the DEAF-WORLD are not as highly publicized as problems with other minorities, they still exist. Throughout time, hearing people have been trying to destroy the DEAF-WORLD with the eugenics movement, the mainstreaming of Deaf children into public hearing schools, and cochlear implants.
Kurt Cobain, lead singer of the infamous band Nirvana was discovered outside of his Seattle home three days after his death by Garry Smith on April 8, 1994. While Cobain’s official death certificate reads suicide, many theories have cropped up over the years that claim to explain neglected attributes to the original case.
On September 7,1996, Tupac Shakur had just left a wrestling match and was at a traffic light when he was shot by a African American male in a white Cadillac. Tupac was allegedly rushed to the hospital and treated for severe gunshot wounds. 2Pac died six days later on September 16,1996, after his mom, Afeni, took him off of life support. This is the news story that everyone hears how 2Pac “died”.
Many people from the 1900’s contributed to the evolution of the history of rock and roll. However, Jimi Hendrix was the rock legend who changed the way music was made and he raised the bar for the rest of the music industry. Jimi was born in 1942, in Seattle, Washington, he had a difficult childhood, being raised by a young mom who had Jimi at seventeen and a dad who eventually left and started another family, he was often left living with relatives. He only saw his mom a few times before she eventually died in 1958. In many ways, music has become a sanctuary for Jimi since he grew up not having much.
There possibly isn't an album in history that is as genre defining as Nirvana's Nevermind. Released in 1991, it single handedly was responsible for the birth of what became to be known as grunge and has gone on to sell over 10 million copies in the United States alone (Stuessy, Joe). It reached number 1 in 1991 and was the first album to bring Seattle grunge to the mainstream audience (Stuessy, Joe). Nevermind is a mix of slow, dark songs and fast paced grunge rock songs. With its grinding guitars, pounding drums, and lead singer, Kurt Cobain's distinctive voice, Nevermind found a distinctive way to fuse alternative punk with 70's rock (Nirvana, Nevermind).
Music can also help people, particularly those going through painful times (such as adolescence) to understand that they are not alone and that other people have the same feelings that they do. After grunge-rock superstar Kurt Cobain committed suicide in April 1994, one fan wrote to Rolling Stone magazine describing how the music of Cobain's band, Nirvana, made her feel. "I could be feeling like total shit," wrote Carrie Loy, "and hear a Nirvana song and end up feeling renewed afterward.
Charismatic leaders are individuals who seem to inspire others. There are all types of charismatic leaders; some people may deem what they do as evil and others may hold a different opinion. There are some leaders that are seen as saviors, coming along at the right moment when all hope is lost. There are other leaders that people slander their names with the word ‘Murder’. In the end it all depends on which side a follower is on. Jim Jones, Martin Luther King Jr. , and Gandhi were some of the most remember charismatic leaders in history. though very different in what they preach. Then there is the most iconic charismatic leader of all and he goes by many names: Allah, the Almighty, but many know him as Jesus.
This article demonstatres how important Kurt Cobain was both as a rock and roll icon and a philosopher. His songs which he recorded himself are still popular today, over 20 years after his death. The author argues how Cobain influences other young artists and his effect on the direction of the music industry.
One of the largest challenges is people being unaware of the Deaf culture and how to distinguish communication. It may be assumed that the members of the Deaf culture have low self-esteem and live in a lower status in society. For the most part, a hearing person has little to no experience with Deaf individuals and society can have preconceived notions about Deaf and hard of hearing individuals. Due to our society, one-side view of deaf people, they are stereotyped as people who cannot function without the help of someone else. People tend to think that there is a relationship between being deaf and intelligence. Many Deaf or hard of hearing people lead very successful and productive lives. In order to change societies discriminatory behaviors our society must understand the oppression that Deaf people face
Deafness itself has historically been viewed as a physical impairment, similar to blindness, and both cognitive and motor impairments. Though today, deafness is considered a trait, not a disability. The debilitating effects of deafness can be helped through hearing aids, cochlear implants, assistive listening devices, and through the ability of speech (and visually reading others lips). Any traits that group members share can be perceived as positive by people in that group. So if deafness is seen as a disability, then people who are deaf carry the stigma of “lacking” a typical human characteristic. Although people in the Deaf Community say they are bound together by deafness, they also say that being deaf is a distinctive perspective on the world.
According to the theory of charismatic leadership, a charismatic leader is a leader who displays certain behaviors and expertise when certain situations exist, and this combination causes followers to attribute charisma back to the leader. Charisma is a trait that is being felt and then attributed to a leader by followers. This makes charisma rare but easily observed when in existence. Max Weber believed that Charisma occurs during a social crisis, when a leader emerges with a radical vision that offers a solution to the crisis (Yukl, 2006)
A charismatic leader uses power to serve others; aligns vision with followers’ needs and aspirations; considers and learns from criticism; stimulates followers to think independently and to question the leader's view; uses open, two-way communication; coaches, develops, and supports followers; shares recognition with others; relies on internal moral standards to satisfy organizational and societal interests. (Howell & Avolio, 2011)
Charismatic Power – The ability to influence followers based on the leaders personality. Politicians often use this kind of power to get follower’s to support them.
