Throughout his life James was very skeptical of Jesus and him being the messiah. He and his 3 brothers did not give Jesus any of the credit that he was due for the miracles he was performing. They believed he was not thinking clearly, and longing for the attention. “But Jesus, said to them, A prophet is not without honor, but in his own country, and among his own kin, Dirr 2 and in his own house.” (New International Version, Mark 6:4) It wasn’t until after the resurrection that James and his four brothers decided to follow Jesus. It wasn’t until later in his life when he witnessed the resurrection of Jesus that he started to believe in Jesus being the son of God. James ended up being one of the earliest witnesses to the resurrection of Jesus, and was a high esteemed leader of the church in Jerusalem. After the resurrections James stayed with his family and the other 12 disciples in the upper room and waited for the Holy Spirit. At this point once they had received the Holy Spirit the New Testament Church was born. James stayed in Jerusalem after the resurrection of Jesus until Saul returned to talk to him and Peter. Both Jesus and Osiris were divine children but were supposed to lead a life of the common man. After Jesus’ death, his remaining followers began to spread the word about him. The old pagan gods were being dismissed and the new faith, Christianity, began to grow immensely.

Through this, it is evident that the resurrection of Jesus Christ was an event done by Jesus that was like none of the other miracles that Jesus had
