Should parents have to be responsible for their kid’s actions? Rachel was the first girl to die in the shooting. The reason why she was important is because she was nice and kind and started a chain reaction. Dylan Keble was a shooter at the school, and he was bullied from middle school till he committed suicide. And Eric Harris was a part of the shooting and he was bullied all high school till he committed suicide. The first reason people think Eric and Dylan’s parents should go to jail is because they saw sighs. A sigh they seen is they seen explosions and seen them testing their explosions. A second sign they seen was their plans for the attack and seen the step there were going to do at the massacre. The last sign they seen was they had a bomb and Dylan’s dad took it. The second way they could of raised them better by checking up on their kid. And the last reason people think they could of aside them better by doing things with their kids like take them to do activities. The third reason people think they should go to jail because they lived with their kids. The first evidence for the reason is they could of heard their kids talking about it. Another reason for my statement is that they should of asked questions about their kids. The last reason to support my statement is that they should have been aware about their kids and what their where doing like watch there YouTube video. Some people think that they shouldn’t go to jail because they went apart of their action. Also there parents had they had no clue what there kid was up to.     On December 14th 2012, just 11 days before Christmas, an awful tragedy happened in Newtown, Connecticut. Twenty-six people were shot at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. This awful event left a lot of unanswered questions and rumors about that day. The reason for that is because the shooter killed himself after shooting twenty young children and six adults. This tragedy open the eyes of everyone; made you want to hug your loves one just a little tighter, appreciate what you still have and never take a day for granted. Even our president Barack Obama felt the pain of all those who lost their loved ones in this event. He insured everyone that he will do everything in his power to make sure a tragedy like this will not happen again. However, did you know that there have been over 44 school shootings since the tragedy of Sandy Hook Elementary shooting? I know as a future teacher and mother I want to make sure my children are safe in this world and even at school. I want to be able to make a difference in this issue and have some knowledge to have I can do that.
